Kilgore
Again, with the need to try a new character I decided to take a spin with a sprite (which is a change from my normal celt choices) fanatic. 99% of the time I will use a warrior, so when I made the fanatic selection I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Thankfully it was a good pairing of race and class. I found the fanatic to be a bit more trying than the warrior classes, of course I know some who feel the opposite. Which is correct, both and niether. It will depend on each person who plays the class.

Anyway back to Kilgore, I have him partway through evolution now. Not only that but I have done it in a fairly fast time, of course I had to choose the neutral alignment since I heard people saying it would be near impossible to do it in a timely manner. When I get more time I will get him to level 70.

These guys are powerful but balanced too, the pyro spell can kill the fanatic as much as any player or mob can be killed thanks to the occasional backfire. The role playing one can do with a fanatic is almost endless (which is true of most characters, but these guys seem to personify that ability), its great to say "I do this because my God(s) tells me to". Although this can be abused for mindless pkilling without cause, I havent seen much of that.

Fanatics are able to wield the following three weapons:

Flail at Level 0.
Whip at Level 15.
Polearm at Level 25.
