are the result of the survey conducted from 90 students of IBA
Q1. Do you find Islam a practical religion?
Q2. Does Islam represent a harsh and strict way of life?
Comments
on the Result
As
expected the reply to Q1 was in affirmation. This indicates that majority
of us believe Islam to be a practical religion. However, on the other
hand, most of us do not practice Islam truly. All we need is to put
additional efforts to apply Islam in our lives.
Similarly
the reply for Q2 was mostly negative as expected. This reflects our clear
understanding about Islamic rules and principles. Islam truly preaches
tolerance, peace and tranquility in ones life. It only stops us from doing
those things that are harmful for our own selves and for our society.

Q1: Please tell, is it allowed to work in a bank that operates on Interest
based system?
Answer: Working in an interest based bank or financial institute is not
allowed in Islam. This is because Islam considers all forms of Interest as
haram and our Holy Prophet (S.A.W) has declared war against those who take
interest or offer.
Q2: Can I perform wadu while having nail polish on my fingers?
Answer: No for performing wadu you have to remove nail polish.
