-What is the Background?- The Background is the storyline we use in Duel Monster Online. Also u will need msn(perferable) to be able to talk to other duelest as it is our way of chatting for not if u dont have it get it. u can find a link for it in the dulest area. NOTE: The subject of the mail should be Duelmonster Apps. -Membership Rules- (All members must follow all Rules listed here). *Have Fun *You must use your own characters. Using characters based on real people is not permitted. Using Characters names or images from the series, comic, cards, ECT will be forbidden to some degree. Straight up racial slurs or any other seriously nasty comments will not be tolerated in role-plays(though u may taunght just dont be rude). You will get 1 warning, then be terminated. Also, try not to get too personal either, since we're all using characters. * No whining! If you have a problem with something, email Duel Master.At hardcore_duelest@hotmial.com *You must do AT LEAST 1 Role-play per week for your character, our after several weeks u will be deleted if u are not active for some time, whether you have a duel or not. Role-playing is important and gives your character depth and life. If you have a schedule duel that week you must rp unless you have prior consent from the Duel Master. *If a Duelist or Duel Master hasn't posted whatever needs to be posted...WAIT!!! Don't bug them about it. There are various offenses leading up to this, such as not rping, racial slurs, etc. You will be warned first, then terminated if the situation continues(so be nice we are all here to have fun. *If for any reason you can't role-play any given week (illness, vacation, etc.), email The Duel Master at hardcore_duelest@hotmail.com either prior to or immediately after the situation occurs. *Never use pictures from the games/series in posts, duels, or role-plays. * When posting anything on any Duel Master Online board, you must leave your characters name. Your characters name is your handle, I.D., ECT, ECT… *Any one person can have only have one active Duelist. *Cheat is forbidden. If anyone is caught cheating, fowl play, Duel Master coercing, or any other act to benefit one's self or other to victory. If this is suspected of a member an investigation will be held and the following will be done… 1) The Duel will either be held up or called a no favor D.Q. and be terminated. 2) Both the suspect and accuser will be suspended from all site activities. 3) The Decks and Libraries of all parties will be frozen from play or trade. If it is found that a player was cheating they will be given 2 strikes and a 2 weeks suspension. Also his bio page will be flagged for cheating and will not be removed for 1 year. This also disqualifies them from ever owning a Starchip for up to 1 year. If it is found none conclusive all parties will get 1 strike and a weeks suspension will be optional to the Head Duel Master. If anyone gains 3 strikes, they are banned for 1 year. * When trading anything a duel master must be informed within 24 hours. But lets just say pick one based on your character. Just saying BEWD or Dark Magican is ok, but it won't get you that card. History: See good example. **Note: By far the most important part of the application. Putting None, Duel Monsters Champ, or some other dumb newbie thing will not get you in. Also I see alot of applications where people put they own cards or items. Do not put cards u have our and item that u want u will get what u are given if u do so your app will be deleted. These character will come with a preselected 50 cards. -DMO Decks- After becoming a member, your character will get credits based on their application. From there you may use credits to get Duel Monster cards. All your cards will be kept together for DM's to view so they know which cards you may use in a duel.
