A Particular Class Of Cross Dresser - Review
More Than Show Tunes: Cross-Dressing From an Academic Perspective Last Tuesday saw one of the most interesting and endearing performances this year pass through the U of L Rectial Hall when David Bateman, a Toronto-based performance artist, performed excerpts from his 2002 show entitled "A Particular Class of Cross-Dresser." The performance allowed viewers to see that cross-dressing involves more than just the putting-on of gender-atypical clothing. It involves emotion, desire, and overcoming shame.
