David Bateman - Biography

David Bateman was born and raised in Peterborough Ontario. He is still in recovery. He did his undergraduate work in English Literature and Cultural Studies at Trent University (Peterborough), his Master's at the University of Toronto's Drama Centre, and his PhD in English and Creative Writing at the Univeristy of Calgary. He is presently a Toronto based perfomrance artist who presents his solo work across the country and in parts of the U.S. A professor of English, Drama, and Creative Writing, he has taught at Trent University, The University of Calgary, and Emily Carr Institute for Art and Design (Vancouver).
