I am creating this web site as a soon to be high school graduate from New Mexico.
I am a Christian, and have been called into the student ministry. I have yet to find a site about the journey of following God's will -- I hope this site will impact some and help others.

Hey guys --- This is obviously where I am going to write about my journeys... and the greatest time to start is the present, so here goes.
So today is May 7, 2002 , and I am starting my web site. I gave the announcement to my youth group on Sunday during my talk at Senior Sunday. No one applauded or cheered for me like I expected them to, but I have to remember that God never told me that this would be a glamorous job that everyone is fighting over.
I have recently started reading Joshua in my quiet times, and have decided to become those tribes mentioned in Joshua 1. They fought alongside the other tribes, and it wasn't their battle to fight. They fought their brothers' battle with them until the end, and that is the type of student pastor I am going to be, one that fights with my students until they have gotten out of the holes they fall so willing ( and sometimes unwillingly) into.

so I am 18, I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I am a military brat.
I come from a pretty good sized family, four kids (including me) and 3 large dogs. I am the oldest, then there's my brother who's a freshman, my brother in 5th grade, and my sister in 4th grade. My parents had the "brilliant" idea to give the boys names that started with "D" and the girls names starting with "S", so I got the name Stephanie.
I have 3 dogs, a samoyed named Kera, and Great Pyrnees, Sukari (Eskimo for sweet) and a Golden Retriever, Sadie Mae Hawkins.
I used to be both a cheerleader and in ROTC and once worked at SeaWorld.
