It really gets on the old nerves how someone in football is ALWAYS moaning, and perhaps unsuprisingly, FIFA President Sepp Blatter is one of the prime subjects of this article. The Moaning Minnie is always on the case, more specifically, on the case of the English game. "Ban Ferdinand, dock Manchester United 15 Points, reduce The Premiership to 18 teams, kick England out of Euro 2004 without taking any action against Turkey. Maybe the incident with the two Leeds United fans has slipped Mr. Blatter's little mind? Also Mr. Blatter chose not to accept England's bid to stage the 2006 World Cup, which was probably the best of the three main bids from Germany and South Africa. If you look at England's football stadia, we have many with better than adequate facilities, I need not mention names, both in terms of capacity and more importantly safety. I'm sure that if you were to ask the public their opinion on Blatter the general view would be very similar. The introduction of the Transfer Window has caused uproar among premiership managers and it is totally understandable why. Most of us were glad to see the back of former FA Chief Executive Adam Crozier, I for one was certainly glad to see his departure. What did you expect form an ex-Saatchi associate? The only thing he actually got right was the appointment of Sven Goran Erikson. It is a suprise hid didn't make Coca-Cola the offical Premiership drink. Unfortunatley, it seems we have

One thing that made me laugh in recent weeks is the alledged bust-up between Burnley boss Stan Ternent and David May. At least there is some comedy in football. Speaking of managers, Blackburn boss Graeme Souness has been the victim of some stupid FA investigations for asking Graham Poll if he is a Tottenham fan (If you saw the game you'd know why) and voicing some opinions without the use of foul and abusive language. A friend of mine suggested that since no-one actually seems to know where the money from these fines goes, that pehaps its used for the special nights out and FA Christmas dinners. I bet it is not going back in to the game. Another manager I always look foward to seeing the post match interviews from is Gordon Strachan. He always entertains, win, lose or draw. Loved the bit were he credited the win of an away match on the change of bus drivers in his Coventry City days! One other little rant I feel the need to express is the stupid and invalid opinions of a "Liverpool Legend" (downright fool if you ask me) Ian St. John. This imbicile who clearly hasn't seen a football match in the last 1000 years has the right to slag off Barry Ferguson, who he has probably never seen in his life and also Blackburn Rovers in general. Yet look what is happening to the mighty Liverpool? No premier league championship - and they are standing still which is going backwards these days. I wouldn't be suprised to see Liverpool fail to make the top six this season.

another incompetent in Mark Pialos.Since he took over from Crozier, he has done nothing but talk a load of rubbish. He also let the Rio Ferdinand saga drag on for far too long. It is a shame Graham Kelly is no longer the Chief Executive, he did a very sound job with little fuss. Gordon Taylor seems to be 100% on the ball, with all the current affairs and seems to be the only man at the FA who doesn't cause uproar with everyting he does. I'm going to be fair and sing his parises as "the Sane One" On a different subject, I made a list of the filthy players everyone is sick to the back teeth of seeing and hearing about. 1. Danny Mills. Where to start? Ridicolous tackles, stupid temprament, and an all round filthy player. Should be locked up. 2. Mauricio Tarrico. Filthy player again. Similar to Mills but with elbows thrown in. 3. Christophe Dugarry. Both of the above and a cheat as well. Dives to get others in trouble. I feel for Craig Short, and I don't blame Andy Todd for last season he more than deserved it.Should be banned for life.
