HOLY SPIRIT

I - HIS ATTRIBUTES

As we have learned how the Holy Spirit communicated in the past and communicates today, we have learned to love him.� Now in this last of the series we are going to try to concentrate on the Holy Spirit himself so we can learn how to love him just for himself.� However, since the Spirit's existence centers around our existence, sometimes his attributes are impossible to separate from his relationship with mankind.

In this lesson we will learn about his attributes that were so vital in creating the world and continues to be exhibited as new life is introduced into the world.� Second, we will learn how he thinks.

Power

Isaiah 11:1-2�� What five attributes are given the Holy Spirit in this passage?

II Thessalonians 2:8-10�� If someone claims to work miracles, does that guarantee the Spirit is with them? _____________� Do such actions deceive those who are being saved or those who are perishing? __________________� Why do people perish? ____________________________________________________

Do I love the TRUTH?� Test me and try me, God, through your Words.

II Thessalonians 2:13�� The Spirit made it possible for us to be saved through the work done on Jesus' part, and through what on our part? _______________________________________________

Often you can recognize such people because their "holy" smiles turn to anger fairly easily when shown the TRUTH, even with gentleness and kindness.
