Zaphikiel is the Angel of Thrones (?). He was also Anael's lover, who was with child (however, they don't know what happened to it). Zaphikiel was blinded by Adam Kadamon's radiance. Zaphikiel is the leader ot the rebel Angels, a group called "Anima Mundi." He is later found out and is made to have his wings severed (which turns angels into ghouls). He had been putting together evidence to make it known that Sevotharte was not who he claimed to be. Before turning into a ghoul, he gives the evidence to Uriel and gives the leadership of the rebels Angels to his "assisstant" Raziel. Then he dies. Uriel uses the evidence at the trial of Jubrille to brind down Sevotharte.
Zaphikiel's lover, and possibly Raziel's mother since they are unsure of what happened to their child. She was best friends with Laila until her "disappearance." She was destroyed by Sevotharte.
Possibly Zaphikiel and Anael's son (he looks like Anael, if you really look at it). Zaphikiel saves Raziel from being experimented on, therefore Raziel becomes very loyal to Zaphikiel. He was given the leadership of Anima Mundi before Zaphikiel's death.
