The Angel of the Earth, the Angel of Death, and the angel who passes judgement. He was in love with Alexiel at one point, but was angered when she rejected him (because she loved God). He was the one who made the judgement of Alexiel's punishment. Afterwards, he punished himself by destroying his vocal cords. Now he talks to people through their minds (telekinesis?). Uriel lives in Hades, looking after lost souls and the tree Yggdrasil.
