Arakune hates God for giving him the body and powers of a male, and hates him even more because he has the heart of a woman. Arakune is a crossdresser, but whether or not he is gay, I'm not sure. Arakune used to be Kurai's brother. His father used Arakune as a decoy to make the Angels believe that he was the next Dragon Master, when Kurai really was. When he found out, he was sad and outraged. Belial came to him and changed his identity to "Arakune," a dead cousin, in order to get revenge by killing Kurai. In the end, Arakune sacrifices himself instead of allowing Kurai to be sacrificed as the 999th bride, because he truly cares for her. Arakune is teamed up with Kurai to awaken Alexiel.
