Bobby Brown Pokes Fun Of Britney's Cover Of My Prerogative
Fallen R+B star BOBBY BROWN has poked fun at BRITNEY SPEARS' rendition of
his classic MY PREROGATIVE because it's nowhere near as good as the original.
Brown gave the pop star permission to cover his 1989 hit because he felt sure
it would be a money-making opportunity, but he hates Britney's cover. He says,
"I love the video. I'm not impressed with the music. It's not mine...
`Call me Britney, we'll get together and I'll show you how to really do it.
Don't do that again.' "That is my anthem and I wouldn't mess with TOXIC
or anything like that, but I love Britney."
Britney Goes To College
Pop superstar BRITNEY SPEARS is going back to college in an effort to
line up a career when her pop fame fades.
The 23-year-old newlywed has enrolled at Perrerdine College near her Malibu,
California, home and is intent on having different employment options - because
she's tired of seeing her face splashed across newspaper and magazine covers.
A source reveals, "Despite all the money she has, Britney is getting
bored. She is enjoying her current newlywed status, but even she knows that
fame won't last forever.
"She wants to start a family, but sees combining that and studying a perfect way to spend married life."
Britney Takes A Two Year Break
For the second time in her career, pop diva Britney Spears has announced she
will be taking a break from the limelight. Upon returning from her honeymoon
with new husband Kevin Federline, Spears posted a letter on her website letting
her fans know that for the next two years, she's going to be taking it easy.
I want to enjoy all of the simple things that I missed over the past few
years due to working way too much. Spears wrote. Although her plan is to
not quit the business altogether, she stressed in the letter that when she
does come back, "things will be totally different." Without specifying
how things would change, she commented that the old adage "less is more"
should have been the principle behind her last record, In The Zone, and
admitted that "some things were done for me [that] were not always in
my best interests. "Spears went on to write that right now she'd rather
see someone else on every cover, and that her interests are now leaning
toward developing other artists. "Everything is in the very beginning
stages and it feels great to just think about different opportunities that
I'm interested in pursuing," she wrote. "My new hobby is experimenting
with all different types of art lessons...Maybe I'll even do my sister's makeup
next year for big events. "Spears also wrote of her excitement in decorating
the new Malibu home her and Federline have recently moved into, "I love
decorating; it's very therapeutic for me. I believe your house is a reflection
of yourself, so I want anything in mine to be exquisite. "In her letter
Spears admitted that she knows her fans will be disappointed with the news
of her break from show-business. She wrote that at this time, her career has
taken a backseat to her new home life. Her priorities have changed, and right
now her main focus is on herself, her husband, and starting a family. Recent
reports that the 23-year-old was pregnant have been snuffed out by her representatives.
Spears' greatest hits album, My Prerogative hit stores this week, along
with a DVD of video footage for the tracks on the CD. Our Thoughts Britney
is definitely a favorite target amongst the paparazzi. Her recent antics cause
you to wonder if she just brings it all on herself.
Britney Begining Two Year Break
Britney Spears will put her music career on hold for two years and plans to
return with a shocking new image. The singer has her heart set on starting
a family with husband Kevin Federline, and is rumoured to be pregnant. In
an open letter to fans on her website, Britney writes, "I haven't really
thought a lot about work lately, what better time for a greatest hits album
to come out? "I can actually enjoy and reflect on my success at this
point in my life. I may be disappointing some fans but I don't think I'll
do another tour for a couple of years. My priorities in life have changed.
When I come back, things will be totally different." A friend of the
star adds, "Britney is going to disappear from the spotlight for a few
years and come back almost unrecognisable. Good luck to her."
What People Think About Britney Taking Time Off....
I wonder why Britney Spears feels the need to report everything in her
life to the media if she really wants us to back off and let her rest. If
she really interested in living her own life and on her website, and she also
would have done her soul searching and re living without a man in her life,
and without plans for childeren soon. If i could give Britney one piece of
advice, it would be to really look at herself to see who she is, and what
the rest of us see.

My Christmas present has come early! I'm glad she's taking a break, it's going
to be SO very hard for her to try and make a comeback. Hopefully the world
has seen the end of her. Too bad there are a line of Britney-wannabes behind
her (can you say Lindsay Lohan?).
