"Country Gardens."

Main st. Hyannis.

Mom took this picture.Goldilocks Dani - Is this papa bear's chair?

We stopped at a lovely little garden shop near mom, and got the
things we needed to make a lovely arrangement. It was in a vase
containing a fighting fish with a "peace lily" on top. This cute
unusual glider was in front, made to look like a giant rocking chair.
We couldn't resist the temptation to take a picture on it.

"Cape Cod Central railroad."

Let's go!All aboard!

We climbed aboard the narrated scenic train ride, and felt the thrill
as the whistle blew, as the rhythm of the train and the spirit of the
crew whisked us away on an exhilarating journey by rail. We went by
the beautiful sand dunes of Cape cod Bay, the great salt marsh, vast
woodlands, and cranberry bogs on our way to the Cape Cod canal.

Rose and Rebecca.

Dani and I met a nice young couple, from Connecticut, and their girls.
They were seated next to us on the train.

"Kennedy Memorial"

John F. Kennedy Memorial.

Above: Dani in front of the Kennedy Memorial. Below: We watched
fireworks from the beach on July 2. Next is a scene of the beach
in the daytime. Just behind the boats is Chase Island. It is complet-
ly self-contained, with it's own post office, store, power supply etc.

Fireworks as seen in front of the memorial. The scene at daytime.

"Hyannisport."

Kennedy compound.St. Andrews by-the-sea church.

The picture on the left is the Kennedy Compound as seen by the front
gate. I stopped the car, and ran up to get the picture:-) I can remem-
ber that a while ago... they had a large white fence and guard house.
The second picture is "Saint Andrews-by-the-sea church. One of my
favorites as a kid. It now overlooks the Kennedy golf club.

More pictures.

Enjoy the rest of the trip
