| RIM has been promoted from a risk management perspective for years. Opponenets of RIM spending have argued that the cost of program implementation far outweighs the risk of not having a compliant records management program. This is not a financial discussion. Sarbanes-Oxley changed the landscape of compliance. Today, RIM is a corporate governance issue -- one that can make both heroes and villians. Susan will discuss what ARMA and its members, your records and information managers, are doing to educate themselves and executive management on the emerging corporate governance challenge -- managing corporate records and information. |
