| Mr. Albert J. Derbes, III - C.P.A., J.D., is a managing member of The Derbes Law Firm, L.L.C. which specializes in general business practice including tax, bankruptcy, corporate, transactions, litigation and successions. A Board Certified Tax Attorney and a Notary Public, Mr. Derbes received his education at Tulane University and is a life-long resident of the New Orleans Metropolitan Area. Mr. Derbes has had the honor of serving the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as SW Regional Director, Vice-President, President-Elect and President. He has also served on and chaired the Insurance Committee and chaired the Ethics Committee for the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Derbes was also chairman and secretary for the State Board of Certified Public Accountants of Louisiana. Mr. Derbes is a member of the following professional organizations: � American Institute of Certified Public Accountants � Louisiana State Bar Association � American Bar Association � Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants � Federal Bar Association � Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants Mr. Derbes has testified an an expert witness in many cases involving property settlements, accountants malpractice and related tax matters.
