| Queen-what can you say? I have/had been a fan of this band since my high school days, again over 30 years ago. The world lost a great talent and entertainer when "we" lost Freddie Mercury. What an understatement!!! Everyone has become familiar with at least some of their tunes because they are used in many commercials, sporting events, and movies. To name a few-We Will Rock You, We are the Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, One Vision, and in 1980 the soundtrack of Flash Gordon. I frequently stick in the tape of the Aids Concert tribute to Freddie. All the stars turned out and performed their "Queen" favorites. I got the chance to see them once in a relatively small place, The War Memorial in Trenton,NJ. Our seats were a few rows from the stage center. It was incredible!!! Some of my favorite tunes are Bohemian Rhapsody, Flash, Keep Yourself Alive, Winter's Tale, Bicycle Race, Fat Bottomed Girls, and Killer Queen. Long live Queen! |
