I was the founder and President of the Beale Air Force Base (AFB) chapter of Toastmasters International. This link is a copy of our entry in the District 39 directory of Northern California clubs.

Sensor Olympics is an Air Force competition among its enlisted members to find the "best of the best" within a member's career field. I won the silver medal in 1992 and took home gold in 2000. This link is to the inside cover of the 2000 Sensor Olymnpics program.

I've always been interested in passing on important information. When my unit came up short on CPR/First Aid instructors, I volunteered. I am now qualified to teach CPR and First Aid in six N. California counties/areas.

I was at Edwards AFB when the desktop and the home PC started to really come into its own. I got involved with the local computer users group, eventually becoming its president and subsequent newsletter editor.

During my career, I've been fortunate enough to work for folks who like to recognize those who have done a good job. This link takes you to copies of some of those letters of appreciation.
