   Getting ready for CSAP
The next few weeks in the school will be peaceful, but that won't last. After some R&R (spring break), the schedule will get hectic. Many students are getting confused, but not to worry because the schedule will be practically the same as the previous year. The first three days will be reading/writing. The next week will be math, and for the 8th grade: Science. The testing will last two weeks, and will be three days a week. The teachers will arrange their schedules to fit their lesson plan. The students explority classes will only last 30 minutes. The students would be advised to enjoy the next few weeks.

Week of February 14-18
         Let Your Voice Be Heard

This weeks topic is all about how after being here three years, how the eighth graders feel about our school. We went to each core and asked a simple five questions........

Question number one is "how do you feel about our school's educational system?" one student responded by saying its "ok" and another student said that "it is dumb because they're not teaching us any thing new". When we ask 8T the same question they responded with some simular answers "it's ok"
and "it's fine". The next question we asked the eighth graders was "on a scale of 1-10 how do you rate our school compard to the other district 51 schools?" and 8T's gave us two fives, 8M gave our school two tens. The third question asked to the eighth graders was "if you could what would you change about our school?" 8M responded by saying "that some of the teachers are to stricked".
8T had some very different remarkes, they felt that the lunch hour is to short not giving us enough time to eat and not enough time to get to socialize. The fourth and fifth question given to the eighth graders was(question 4) "how do you feel about our teachers here at Grand Mesa?" and "What is your favorite subject?" there responces, 8M: Math with Mr.Clemmet and Social Studies with Mrs.Olsen and 8T said there favorite was both Math with Ms.Kallemeyn and Language with Mrs.Flenniken.
