George Michael Metivier's history of the American woman as he has documented it, photographically, for the past 50 years. The majority of those who grace the pages are nude.

Metivier is an educated artist; his experience includes many exhibitions in several significant galleries, two museum of arts and university showplaces. Many of the artworks the viewer will see have won awards and been   collected by informed art connoiseurs. Anyone, that is, that appreciates art. It is regrettable we are forced to disclaim the integrity, the decency and natural beauty of the women pictured. They come from all walks of life, not one is a professional model nor paid to sit.These are highly personal expressions by the women depicted.
