About my hobbies and interests.

Having some secondary items of focus in life helps keep the primary focus in perspective, and also helps to widen one's horizons and relieve stress.

1951 Washington County, Tennessee Tag
One of my hobbies is the collection of auto License Plates. I have been collecting for a number of years. My primary collection is comprised of one tag from each state, dated from the year in which I was born, as well as one tag from each county in my birth state of New Jersey. Please check out my 1951 State Tag Run and my 1951 NJ County Tag Run, which is currently in work.

My first tag, issued in May 1968
on my first car, a plain-Jane,
1953 Chevy model 150.

Personalized New Jersey tag I once had
on my first new car,
a 1973 Camaro LT 350 4spd.

Personalized Florida tag I once had
during the early 80's on a long gone
1974 Corvette, L48 TH400.

I enjoy 4X4 vehicles and currently own a stock 1988 Chevy T10 Blazer with a 4.3 V6 and a 700R4 automatic transmission, which my wife has named "Bubba". I also have a 1989 Jeep XJ with a 4.0 I6 engine and an AW4 automatic transmission, which sports a 3" suspension lift, 31 X 10.50 tires, Dana 30 & 35 axles & a NP231 transfer case, and assorted other offroad mods.

As a spiritual person, I have enjoyed joining a group of Christian offroaders called 4X4Grace.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the tracing of my ancestry. Although something that is never complete, I have gone back many years and also found many 'cousins' living throughout the USA and Wales. You might like to view some pictures of my ancestors . You might also enjoy seeing my Doll Project page which has some Lee Middleton Collectible Dolls that I have outfitted to pay tribute to a few of my ancestors.

Another hobby which I enjoy, but don't seem to have enough time to pursue is Photography. I consider myself a fairly decent weekend shutterbug, however, my present photo frustrations surround portraiture. I would appreciate constructive input on this subject.

I enjoy most types of Music, however I prefer Country. I generally listen to WXBQ in Bristol, and serving northeastern Tennessee.
