GLWA RULES
(as of 01/23/2005)

A. ROLEPLAYS

1.1 Max & Min
Roleplay max and roleplay min both vary, depending on a few things.  Dark matches, it is one max and one min, First Hour matches are two max and one min, and Second Hour matches are two max, two min.

The only exception is with the Brutality Title's 24/7 rule(Rule B.2.3.1).

1.2 Common Sense

Basically, use common sense in writing your roleplays.  I don't mind the occasional f-bomb, but don't overdo it.  No racism!!!  Also, do not kill anyone in your roleplays.  (this sounds stupid, but you'd be surprised)

1.3 Other Wrestlers/Alliance-Wide Staff

You are NOT allowed to you wrestlers or any Alliance-wide staff in any of your roleplays, without permission from that person.

B. TITLES

2.1 GLWA Five Lakes Heavyweight Title

Title is to be defended at least once permonth and at every PPV.

2.2 GLWA MidWest Title

Title is to be defended at least once per month and at every PPV.

2.3 GLWA Brutality Title

Title is to be defended according to 24/7 Rule and at every PPV, in a Hardcore (or other gimmick) match.

2.3.1. GLWA Brutality Title - 24/7 Rule

This entitles anyone (excluding top 5 in federation) to challange the Brutality Champ at any time during the show (or even during the week, but match will take place during show).  Champ is NOT notified of match, so that it is basically a surprise.  All they have to do is notify the President and have him make the necessary arrangements.

C. Strats

3.1 Strats & Regular Matches

Basically, they are a tie breaker in the event of a tied vote on the committee.

3.2 Strats & Title Matches

Strats are mandatory in a title match.  If the challanger gets more votes than the Champ, but does not send a strat...he loses.  The same goes for the Champ.  No strat equals automatic loss of title (which does not mean it goes to the challanger).

D. Matches

4.1 Dark Matches

Dark Matches take place before the show airs.  Do not be detered if you are in one.  Sometimes it just means that I don't have enough room in the show for another match.  Rps go as such, one max and one min.

4.2 First Hour Matches

First hour matches are the matches from the Card Opener to Mid-Card.  Usually the GLWA Brutality Title (in a normal match, not 24/7 Rule) would be defended in this hour.  Only three matches are to take place during the first hour.  As for RPs, it is two max and one min.

4.3 Second Hour Matches

Secound hour matches are matches from Mid-Card to Main Event.  This is where the GLWA Five Lakes Title is ALWAYS defended (Main Event or not).    Only three matches are to take place during the second hour.  RPs run at the rate of two max and two min.

E. Miscellanious

5.1 Match Decisions

Matches are decided on a vote of Five Committee members (Prez, VP, Commish & two Committee Members).  In the event that one of the opponents in a match, are located in the Committee, they are NOT allowed to vote on their own match.  In this case, the Prez will find a temporary voter, for that match.

5.2 NeWA Rules

Aside from all GLWA Rules, you are to abide by the NeWA Rules as well.

5.3 Only Original

The Great Lakes Wrestling Alliance accepts ONLY original wrestlers.

5.4 Punishment

Breaking any of the fore-mentioned rules will results in punishment, which will be decided by the GLWA Committee.

5.5 Additional Rules

The GLWA staff holds the right to change and/or add rules at any time, without prior notice.
