My name is Lee, Young-Hwi and my wife's name is Yoon, Soosan. We are a couple with full of fun and conflict as well, but generally we are a healthy, happy and compatible couple as to enjoy every bit of our dear life together in this beautiful world.

It has been 33years now since we got married in 1969 and of the 33 years we lived in overseas for 16 years mainly in Southeast Asian countries  such as Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Phillipines as well as USA and UK as I had worked and studied in those countries.

I have been working as human resource or education and training development and management expert / consultant / advisor / teacher and instructor trainer / university lecturer /inatitutional manager. I returned to Korea from my overseas adventure in 1996 and have been living in Korea ever since early 1996. I  had worked as full time HRD advisor on a contract basis for a public sector industrial corporation for 3 years after returning to Korea and upon completion of the contract I have been working as  a  freelancer human resource/education and training / organization development consultant up until now and concurrently I have also been working as part-time farmer at my farmland for the last 3 years, which I bought 3 years ago, preparing for our golden years.  My recent overseas visiting consulting services for the Korean government were rendered for Vietnam and South Africa in 2001. These days, gradually the farming work is becoming my major concern as I am spending more time at my farm than doing the consulting work.

I have been longing for working and living in the countryside for quite a long time. Finally, I am doing what I wanted to do together with my wife, Yoon.
We built a temporary shelter all by ourselves at our farmland by do-it-yourself method in the year 2000. Of course, we argued, quarreled, scolded and also laughed at each other while we building the farm shelter: we call it shelter because it is not up to normal house standard, but it is a cosy place for us to relax, eat, chat, sleep, listen to music, play around with computer and make love as well.

Our farmland is about 1 hour drive from our apartment house which is located suburban area of Seoul. During winter time the apartment becomes our main camp and we visit our farm shelter roughly twice a week just to relax and breathe the countryside fresh air as there are not much work to do at the farm during winter time. But from March to November it is the other way around and the  farm shelter becomes our main camp and we stay most of the time at the farm which we named as "The Four Seasons" or "The SpringSummer Autumn&Winter".

We got married in 1969 while I was working as high school teacher in Seoul teaching electronic technology. I studied electronic engineering at Seoul National University and started out working for the government as well as a private electronic equipment manufacturing company upon graduation with BSc. in Engineering. But I did not like the works there and I became a teacher and I did my further study in education and training/human & organization development at the Graduate School of Yonsei University and Manchester University. Ever since I started working as Human Resource Development / Industrial Education and Training / Teacher and Instructor Training Expert from 1967, I have been serving  Korean government, foreign governments, international organizations, public sector and private sector  organizations. I also taught at  teacher training colleges as part-time lecturer for quite many years while I was working in Korea. During 1970s, I had opportunities to get industrial training and further study in the USA and UK under government sponsorship and those were good opportunity for us to enlighten ourselves and get to know more about the world, human life, culture and society.

As to my life-time companion, Yoon, she has been an ordinary homemaker ever since she married me and I can say that she has been a wonderful supporter,  assistant, companion, friend, teacher and  advisor and entertainer for me for the last 33 years. I really thank her very much for all the good services she has rendered to me. Anyway, I am still trying to make her happy in every way to pay back all the debts I owe her!

We have two grown up children, one daughter and one son. The first or elder one is a girl and she is working as IT expert after completing her  study in English language and literature as a first degree and Information Iechnologyas a second degree at Ewha Women's University. My son is living in New Zealand as a permanent resident working part-time and studying computer science at Canterbury University in New Zealand. Both of them are still single. Oh! By the way, I forgot to tell you about our rather new family member, Ppori-jjang. She is a cute three year old dog as you can see her on the main page.
