We studied air and air pressure. I hope that the kids learned some of the laws that affect air.

We studied Simple Machines. . The kids had to write a report on famous inventors.

My class studied weather, This is a good year to study weather in Los Angeles because of El Nino.

Many kids show an interest in storms.

 

Every year, we study space , including planets, the gods that they're named for, and astronauts. We build a scale model of the solar system and several types of  rockets.

 

 

 

We studied Geology including erosion.. Kids can write an email to a geologist.
Many kids like to study volcanoes.

We studied air and air pressure. I hope that the kids learned some of the laws that affect air.

My class studied trees, rain forests, and the environment. Twice, we planted trees on campus.

My class studied the earth's resources and how to protect the environment. I hope that they learned a little about some environmental protection groups as well as protecting endangered species. Some kids may have joined projects to protect the earth

In the spring of 1998 we were in a project developed by Steven Dworetzky of King Middle School with LASI to make a model of the Mars PathfinderSojourner.

We studied light in science. Rainbows connect this unit with math and art. We sometimes also look back at microscopes.

My class studied ecology, including plants and animals.

My class studied electricity . Of course, I gave the kids a lot of static . 

My class has studied the human body in science. Some of the kids did reports on health problems . I have more adult information too.

My class has studied magnetism .
