Short Cake (aka Cakes) was 24 1/2" at shoulder and 72 pounds. Short Cake was a brown nose with red wheaten coat and little white on chest and toes. Cakes had a delightful personality and liked to tease.
Short Cake began her point show career at seven months of age winning the Breed over a group-placing Special and made the "cut" in the group. Cakes earned her first major the hard way, going Best of Breed over three male Specials including a multi-Best in Show Ridgeback and went on to a Group 2!  She also placed in a very competitive 12-18 month class at 1991 RRCUS Specialty (pictured right).

Short Cake was bred to Ch. Globe Ca-Abi Reign On Teaser, ROM and that litter of 9 was born in September 1994. There were no ridgeless and no sinus. Three finished and four others from this litter are show quality: one was pointed, one was killed in a freak accident, two others were not shown.
Ch. Globe's Tea-Em Step in Time finished in 13 shows at 12 months of age. For information on Timmy, click on his name.
Ch. Globe's Rei-Embra Johari, CDX, OA, AXJ, AD, CGC, VC, TT, owned by Paula Davis. "Gemma" is the most titled Ridgegack bred by Globe and is continuing to work on additional titles. We are very proud of this multi-talented Ridgeback and her owner. Check out Gemma's homepage.

Dyna is a lovely brown nose bitch whose movement and temperament are unsurpassed. Like her dam, Cakes, Dyna is one of the few brown nose bitches to place in the group in this country. As a puppy, she won
BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES at the OCRRC Specialty in 1995 under Breeder Barbara Throckmorton. In 1997 Dyna and her young handler Ryan Churchey won back-to-back BEST JUNOR HANDLER at the OCRRC Specialty and the RRCUS National Specialty. She made the cut for BOB at the 1999 National Specialty under Breeder/Judge Stacey Davis. Dyna is a proven producer of champion, group-placing offspring with other pointed and major pointed. Proud owners and handlers are Phyllis Scalf and Robert Churchey of Ruya Ridgebacks.
