Rants & Raves
You know what bothers me? Whenever anyone goes into an ice cream store (especially Baskin Robbins.......no, not Baskin Robinhood like in the Shrek sequel) and asks for "plain" ice cream, they get vanilla. Vanilla isn't plain, it's totally a flavor! Are you discriminating against vanilla?!?!
I SHALL STAND UP FOR VANILLA'S RIGHTS!!!!!

Sheep are evil. I have concluded it. Especially a certain stuffed sheep, "Autumn." It is so eeeevil. I mean, it's not even a smiling stuffed animal. It just evilly blankly stares straight forward. I love to torture that little sheep. I stuff it into the piano bench, throw it over the second story banister, hide it in the linen closet, sit on it, and I've been tempted to throw it down the laundry chute.
It's a good thing sheep are the stupidest creatures on the planet. Think about it. If suddenly all the sheep actually lost their tendency to run into obstacles, and maybe even became intelligent, they could take over the WORLD!!! There's so many......nooo......the horror..................

You know what bothers me? Fanfiction. I mean, there's these teenage girls (normally) who have so much money and so little to do,  that they first get completely obsessed with some aspect of pop culture (orlando, Star Wars, whatever...but I've done this), memorize the stories and birthdays and male underwear preferences and whatever (I have not done this), and THEN write fantasies about whatever they obsess over (definitely not). And the stories aren't even normally good. Or finished. Or entertaining. Or in character. Or realistic.  Or non-barf inducing. It's just a total waste of time. I mean, if you have that much time on your hands and enough English skills to write, MAKE UP YOUR OWN CHARACTERS!!! That's much more fun, anyway. I mean, the characters fanfics use already have complete stories, with its own style and word choice and whatever. I do believe fanfics can be good, so if someone out there has a good fanfic they'd like to show me, and by good I mean finished, entertaining, in character, realistic, and  "nearby barf bucket not required,"  then sign the guestbook and tell me where to read it. But just about all fanfics I have read totally stink and aren't even done. I warn you, I am extremely sarcastic and critical when it comes to stories. Some might even say I'm defensive... but I sincerely believe that if you are not a writer, have no intention of becoming a writer, and do not believe that God gave you enough writing talent to even write a boring term paper, do not waste your time with fanfics. As the author of Jerry the Frog Productions put it in one of her hilarious sideshows, "Being fans, we spend all our time studying people who don't exist, writing material that can never be published, and purchasing items with no useful purpose." "What would we do instead? Feed the hungry? Care for the elderly?" "But that would involve us being productive members of society!" 'Nuff said.
Of course, I KNOW I am slightly obsessive about being anti-obsessive. Therefore I am a ludicrous hypocrite and should not be listened to about anything whatsoever, right? Absolutely. But I know it's not healthy to REALLY be obsessive about anything, and so I'm not. It's OK to just be interested and supportive. I know I can forget the AobFWU and this site and Lord of the Rings and movies and piano whenever I feel like it, but...............................I'm no quitter.

Dory from Finding Nemo is so awesome!! She never has ANY idea what's going on, but you still have to love her because she's such a loyal friend!!! I just finished watching Nemo, and I was thinking...yes, shocking, but I was in fact THINKING...Marlin (Nemo's dad) is afraid of everything because he's aware of what's going on. He thinks things through, and realizes there might be bad outcomes, so he's a worrywart. Dory is totally incapable of even recognizing that someone is insulting her ("I am miles from home with a fish that can't even remember her own name!" "Gee, I bet that's frustrating."), so she can't be afraid. She and Marlin sorta complement each other, and so they find Nemo. Happy ending!!
