PHI THETA KAPPA
Here's the Alpha Omega Rho chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at the International Convention up in Anaheim this past April --  Back two rows from left to right: Lindsey, Ana, Eamon, Michelle, Michael, David, Jennifer, Carla, Lyndi, Sally, and Nicole; and in the front are Leo and Marilyn -- These people have given me a new outlook on life, and are among my dearest friends.
Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society of the two-Year College, was founded in 1918 and has since grown to include chapters across the United States and Canada, with additional chapters in Germany and Japan. For information on this excellent organization, which offers numerous scholarships and opportunities for members, visit their website: http://www.ptk.org

I am now the President of the
Alpha Omega Rho chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Palomar College. Alpha Omega Rho is a part of the Nevada-California Region, which is just celebrating its 10th anniversary!

Being a member of Phi Theta Kappa is an excellent way to meet and connect with people from all walks of life and from all over the country and now the world, building on the four hallmarks of the Society: Scholarship, Leadership, Fellowship, and Service.

I'm just sorry I didn't join sooner!
