Au sujet de moi . . .
Confirmation 2002
Here's a delightful picture of me on the day of my Confirmation last year. That's His Excellency Bishop Brom of San Diego next to me (duh) and my grandmother and mother.
Good Lord I hate talking about myself -- but I suppose since this is my webpage I should put something down along those lines . . .

Name: Neill -- I put that on the homepage, or weren't you paying attention?

Age: 20 for now -- I'll be the big 2-1 in July.

Occupation: I go to Palomar College in North San Diego County. I don't quite know what I'm doing there, but it's an existence. I work at the Counseling Front Desk there as a clerical assistant, although my job is in peril thanks to the budget cuts passed down from Sacramento (shakes fist in a general northerly direction). I am also a Traffic Safety Commissioner for the City of San Marcos.

Family situation: I live with my mom and grandma, two of the best people a person could want as housemates. Of course we have our fights -- who doesn't? -- but all in all it's a fine arrangement. I am an only child <sniffle> but c'est la vie -- I have the cat to fill that younger sibling role lol

Favorite things to do: I enjoy movies, concerts, wandering aimlessly, vegetating, and the like. I also like bowling even though I bowl like a Nazi (goosestep and all) and my highest score is a freagin' 117 :-( (I still beat Ty and Durfey though in that particular set . . . haHA)

Favorite movie: Depends on the genre (ooo, French word lol) -- I love classic films like Sunset Boulevard and All About Eve, but I also like Airplane! <shrugs> I have varied tastes :-)

Favorite band: Right now, my absolute favorite band is Something Corporate -- I just saw them in concert a little over a week ago, and they ROCK -- I also rather like The Juliana Theory, The Ataris, The All-American Rejects, Sugarcult, Jimmy Eat World, and assorted other bands -- especially my local faves Saturday's Child and Counterfit.

Favorite place to caffeinate: Starbizucks -- I'm addicted. What can I say?

Church: St. Mark's Catholic Church is the place I call home, though I do frequent RBCPC and the College Group there. I sing in the 10:45 choir at St. Mark's :-D

Shout-outs to my peeps (oh Lord . . . I thought I could pull that off, but it didn't work lol):

<deep breath> You all are my absolute favorite people in the world, and frankly I'd be bored to tears without you in my life:

My godmother Ana, Christy, Durfey, Matt C., Betsy, Becca, Kristine, Judith, Mat, Sean, Nancy, Steve, Jill, Matt R., Kim, Heather, all the folks from St. Mark's 10:45 Choir; Stacy-Michelle (Mrs. Chumley!), Richie, James, Aurora, Eliza, Sarah, Alisha, Byron, and all the people responsible for
Harvey (and those whom I met as a result of that most fun of shows!); Caleb, Amy, Jeremiah, Denise (pronounced Dennis . . . j/k :-P), Lisa M., Erica, Alyssa, Ken, all the folks from RBCPC College Group that I failed to mention; Lisa G., Sherry, Diane, Dotti, and all the folks from work at Palomar; and last but certainly not least, my Phi Theta Kappans: Michael, Michelle, Carla, Leo, Sally, Ana, Nicole, Marilyn and all the rest of Alpha Omega Rho! (for more about them, click here.)

And of course, my family -- that goes without saying :-D

You all are my inspiration and I shall always be grateful :-)

God's blessings be upon each and every one of you + Amen.
