September 2008 - Jade is a lovely bitch  who was owned by the same person as Ozzy. He had been seized due to abuse. Jade was surrendered by the owner.
Jade is lucky to have found a lovely home with a real animal lover! Many thanks to Jonaton for giving her the home she deserves !
July 2008- Sasha was rescued from her owner, she and her companion, Kane,  were lockd in a 8 x 5 foot pen with no interaction with people. Surprisngly both have great personalites and are good with people and children.
Sasha is very lucky to have joined Quinn in her home with Andrew and Lydia. She is enjoying her freedom and he long runs on the beaches with Quinn.
July 2008 - Indy is a young stray dog that was brought to his local Pound. Indy has a brilliant personality and is great with dogs, cats, horses and children. Indy is terribly eager to please and will be a great addition to any home.
Indy is now called Nelson and is gone to live with his new family. Many thanks to Eamonn and his family.
June 2008 - Dobson is a lovely young dog who was found straying and brought to a local Pound, they surrendered him to me.
He is a sweet natured dog. Dobson is settling in well with Sandra and her Rescue Cats, many thanks to her !
May 2008 - Jess was surrendered by her owners as they had not the time for her. She is a very affectionate bitch who is very biddable. She is also bouncy and outgoing.
Jess is gone to a lovely home with experienced owners who are delighted to have her. The boys will no doubt give her plenty to play with and Dave and Jackie will spoil her rotten.
May 2008 -  Tia, now called Phoebe is a 20 month old pitch that was surrnedered b er wner  is very spooky and has not been well socialised, however she is great with children as she lived with many. Phoebe is settling in great in her new home with a Greyhound who is a PAT dog. She will go for training and maybe in the future she come become a PAT dog also and be a great ambassador for Dobermann Rescue !
May 2008 -  Warrior was a stray that found his way to a local Pound. He is one of the nicest dogs I have ever met, hard to think why his owners would not hunt high and low looking for him. Anyway their loss was out gain! He is a real gem, he's gentle, great with dogs, cats and children and he has now gone to a lovely home with Tanys and her family. Many thanks to them !
May 2008 -  Maezi is a lovely bitch who was surrendered by her owners due to a marriage break up. She is easy going and nice natured with everything. She is a lovely bitch to live with. Maezi has gone to a lovely home with Jim and his family and is settling in great, their Dobe dog is learning to accept her as he was a single dog up until her arrival and no doubt had enjoyed his great life and now must share his family !
April 2008 -  Vic has been in foster care for 4 months and really deserved his own home. He was surrendered by his owner as they didnt want him any longer. He was a farm dog and had never been in the house. He was house trained during his time in foster care and he really got to like being indoors.
Vic has gone to a lovely home with another Dobe. He has settled in really quickly and Andrew says it is like he was always been there. Many thanks to Andrew!
April 2008 - Zena was surrendered by her owners to the Pound. She is very responsive and bidable. She is sharp initially with other dogs but learns her place in the pack very quickly. She is  a sweet bitch. Zena has gone to a lovely home with Steve and Katie and they are working through some teething problems.

April 2008 - Tia was found straying and brought to a local Pound. She is terribly nervous and while she does settle it will take a lot of time for her to be sure of her surroundings.
Tia is lucky that Mandy is committed to rescue and understands the issues ahead of her in adopting Tia. Many thanks to her for opening her home to Tia.
March 2008 - Hunter is a young dog who was surrendered to a Pound. He is a young bubbly dog that loves people and is good with dogs. Again he was another dog that required building up as he was too thin. Hunter is settling into his new home with Jason and his family.
March 2008 - Phoenix was surrendered by his owner to a Rescue Shelter and was terribly malnourished. He is a very sensitive dog and needs some time to get settled in new surroundings, however he is very gentle and is great with dogs and cats.
Phoenix is now called Sorfus and is settling into a lovely home with Trevor and Hannah.
March 2008 - Ozzy is a dog who was terribly badly treated and was seized by Wardens from his owner. He was grossly underweight when we got him but his nature shone through. This dog is one of the coolest I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He is gentle with everything.
Ozzy has gone to a lovely home with a Dobe bitch called Lola, thanks to Jordana and her family for giving this fellow the home he deserves!
March 2008 - Ice is a young dog whose owners no longer wanted him. They brought him to the Vet and asked that he be put to sleep. Thankfully the Vet would not do this and contacted me.
He is a sweet dog and has now got the home he deserves with Kath. Many thanks to Kath and her daughter Jodie for welcoming Ice into their home.
February 2008 - Lily is a gorgeous young bitch whose owners no longer wanted her. The Warden (Paul) contacted me telling me he was getting her, many thanks to him! Prior to her time in the Pound she developed a serious gastro bug which did not manifest itself until after she came to me, was spayed and rehomed.
Poor Lily has only had 3 days in her new home before she took very ill and she has spent the last few days in the Vets on a drip. Please god she will pull through. Many thanks to Peter and his family for the love and care they are giving her ! Lily is home and doing well !
February 2008 - Duke is a gorgeous dog who has been unfortunate as his first adoptive home fell through, through no fault of his own. He remained in Kennels in the UK for 3 weeks but did not enjoy the experience. He is a terribly sensitive dog.
Duke is now gone to a lovely home with Steve and his family and thei Weimy bitch Purdy. Many thanks to Steve for giving Duke another chance. Hopefully this will be his forever home !
February 2008 -  Otis is a gorgeous playful young pup who was abandoned by his owners and picked up straying and brought to a Pound in Dublin. He is such a handsome dog and is very biddable. His basic obedience is great and he is terribly affectionate and open. He is great on a lead and will make a fantastic companion.
Many thanks to Tracey and Jonathon for adopting Otis. They are getting a beautiful dog and they are over the moon with him. He is full of energy but this couple are very active so they will suit each other.
February 2008 - Spike is a lovely natured dog that was abandoned by his owner and found straying after being attacked by some local dogs. He is a terribly gentle, kind dog and loves being with you. He is very biddable.
Spike has found a lovely home with Leah, a Dobe bitch and Zarina. Many thanks to her for giving this sweet dog the home he truly deserves !
February 2008 - Taz was surrendered by her owner as he was moving house and was not allowed a dog in his new rental home. Taz has open pressure sores on her hocks and on her brisket. She was kept in a shed and outdoors all the time. She has a lovely personality and is so affectionate.
She has landed on her feet as she has gone to a lovely home with Jennifer, Trevor and their children and their eldery boxer Clancy. Taz is being a bit aggressive with him at present but hopefully she will settle once she realises she will be treated as well as he is.
February 2008 - Quinn's home didnt work out as the Jap Chin she was with didnt accept her, so it was briefly back to foster care for Quinn. S
he has now moved to a lovely home in Kerry with Andrew and Lydia and their eldery Dobe bitch Ella. This is a beautiful home and Quinn is finally settled in a home of her own. Many thanks to Andrew and Lydia.
February 2008 - Amber (now Scamp) was surrendered to the Pound by her owner. She told the Pound she was 3 but didnt give her name or any reason for abandoning her. She is a real sweet natured bitch but was grossly over weight when she came to us.
Scamp has been adopted by a lovely family and their 5 other dogs, another Dobe rescue, Oscar, two Wolfhounds Tia and Paddy, a Dalmation Amber (hence the change of name) and a rescue Terrier called Lucky. After initial teething problems, Scamp finding her way in the pack and learning each dog would get the same amount of love, attention and food she quickly settled. Many thanks to Karen, Val and Steven for committing to making it work and giving Scamp the home she deserves !
February 2008 - Quinn was surrendered to a Rescue Shelter due to her owners illness. She was well cared for and is a lovely girl. She is biddable and intelligent and really laid back. She is unsure in new situations but quickly settles. She would benefit from some agility/obedience to use her brain.  Quinn has gone to a lovely home with a Jap Chin called Gizmo aka Killer. Many thanks to Darren Paula and family for giving Quinn the home she deserves.
January 2008 - Ruby's owner could no longer keep her as her circumstances changed so she surrendered her to me. She was a much loved pet and had a good life. While in foster care she was spayed after losing some weight. She is a nice natured, sweet bitch that is terribly biddable.
Ruby has gone to a lovely home with David and Debbie. They lost their beloved Dobe bitch, Lucy, while Ruby will never replace her she will certainly be a lovely bitch to share their life with.
January 2008 - Sam never had a bed to call his own, he wandered around with other dogs and was surrendered to me for a better life. He is lovely natured dog, full of life and energy, but is very laid back in his head. He was unsuccessfully homed previously, due to no fault of his own. This made it very important that the next home was the right one for him.
Sam has gone to a farm where he will spend all day with Malcolm and his evenings will be spent in front of the fire with the family. Many thanks to Malcolm and Freda for giving Sam the home he deserves.
January 2008 - Storm came to me from a Pound, he had been straying and was in the Pound for 10 days prior to them contacting me. He was due to be put to sleep the day I collected him. Photos do not do justice to how under weight this poor dog was. He  had scars on his leg, evidence of his leg being tied tightly to something and a infected sore on his foot. Despite all this cruelty he has such a nice nature. He is full of energy and a hugely intelligent dog. He loves kisses and playing with a ball.
After 2 months in foster care Storm has finally gone to the loving, permanent home he deserves, thanks to Alan and his family. Although I say it about them all I think Storm is a truly remarkable, special dog and I wish his new family all the happiness they deserve with him ! Thanks Alan !
January 2008 - Diva came to us in early December along with her brother Shadow. Diva is a pretty, sensitive girl who was unsure when she came to us first. She has since developed into a lovely puppy and I am sure Martin, Philippa and family will have a great time with her and their Dobe male. Both Shadow and Diva will have to be neutered when they come of age.
Diva has been introduced to everyone and has been on a few long walks since her trip to the UK and has settled in on the couch as though she was always there ! Thanks to Martin and Philippa for giving Diva the home she deserves!
January 2008 - Shadow and his sister Diva came to us early in December at 10 weeks old! Their breeder could not sell them and wanted rid! They thrived by the fire and really wormed their way into our hearts! Shadow is full of mischief and really outgoing. He is house trained and crate trained and is great in the car!
Shadow has gone to a lovely home in the UK where he will have a Dobe female as company, along with Swans and Horses and Guinea Fowl. There is lots of land for him to roam and I am sure he will settle in no time. Tina is looking forward to lots of introductions for this lucky puppy. We will miss him greatly but know that he has gone to a perfect home !
December 2007 - Rocco has been in foster care since early August. He was Cruz's companion and was very distressed when he came from his old home as his owners no longer had time for him and he was left in the garden with little interaction. He was destructive and can be dog aggressive but is controllable. He needs to be with someone who spends lots of time at home.
Rocco has gone to a lovely home with David, Jackie and the boys. He will live near the sea and will be dearly loved by this family whose previous Rescue Dobe has just passed away. Many thanks to them !
December 2007 - Mach's owners no longer had time for him, he is an 18 month old exhuberant male, who is so affectionate. He was previously homed but the home fell through due to no fault of his own. He has been in foster care for almost 2 months and it is great he has found a super home of his own.
Mach is going to a lovely home by the sea where he will be spoiled by Scott and Jackie who have previously had a brown Dobe and are terribly excited to be getting him. Many thanks to them !
November 2007 - Kia (Now Zena) Kia is a 2 year old bitch that  had 2 litters for her first owner,  none of which survived. She has also had 3 homes, the last being a lady who took her in as a temporary measure to save her from her awful plight.
Zena is now in her new home with Michele, her family and Zeus, their 8 year old male Dobe.
November 2007 -  Herbie was dropped off outside a Rescue Shelter where he remained for 13 months. When I took him out he was underweight due to stress. He remained in foster care for a number of weeks and his confidence was built up and therefore he put weight on. He now loves life and is full of energy and enthusiam!
Herbie was lucky to go to a great home with Kate and her family, four and two legged.
November 2007 - Duke was surrendered with Duchess, as their owners health was deteriorating. He was subdued as Duchess dominated him but has come around while in foster care. He was vaccinated, mico chipped and neutered.
He is settling in well in his new home with Jimmy and Julie as the new photos show.
November 2007 - Neo was a stray in the Pound due to be put to sleep. He was vaccinated, mico chipped and neutered. is gone to his new home with Maria and family. He is full of life and has lots of love to give and the girls will keep him active.
Neo is now Leo and has settled in great with his new family and the neighbours Labrador Ben with whom he plays during the day and the families both go walking together in the evenings. Many thanks to them for giving this sweet dog the home he deserves!
October 2007 - Duchess was surrendered along with Duke, he remains in foster care at present. They were both loved by their owners and you can see from the photos they were well looked after, unfortunately due to health reasons they could not keep Duke and Duchess. They are 10 months and 9 months old respectively.
Duchess has gone to a lovely home where she will be treasured. Many thanks to Julie and Ricky for taking Duchess. We look forward to equally as good a home for the handsome Duke.
October 2007 - Neo and Mach were both seperately homed but unfortunately the homes did not work out and they have returned to foster care.
October 2007- Ulyssa ( now called Mia) is a very pretty bitch that again was surrendered to the Pound as her owners had no time for her and she was permanently in the back garden and started barking for attention. She is so pretty and is full of life. She is being vaccinated, mico-chipped and spayed and has been introduced to her new home with Greg and Diesel (another Rescue Dobe, now called Max) and they all got on famously well. Many thanks to Sam Walsh for passing on Greg's details to me!
October 2007 - Rocco  is a 4 year old entire Dobe dog, he was in foster care with us for almost 3 months. When I took him from his home (along with Cruz) he was distressed  and bored. He came on holidays with us and with lots of love and affection he came around.
Following a few weeks with Sharon Rocco is returning to us. He will remain in foster care with myself and Niall until a home is found for him.
October 2007 - Rocky is a 14 month old entire Dobe dog, he is a sweetheart and  following lots of tlc really came out of himself.
He has been homed with Claire who is thrilled to have him. Many thanks to Dione for fostering him and Jay for putting Claire in contact with me. Futher photos will follow.
September 2007 -  Ben was seized from his owners and taken to the Pound. At this stage I was contacted to find him a home. The Warden worked hard with Ben and wanted him saved! He has gone to a home with other Dobes and a Rottie.
