Glendora High School Fly Casting Club

Club Charter

The Glendora High School Fly Casting Club exists to provide opportunities for Glendora High School students to learn about fly fishing through the study of ecology, entomology, biology, art and physical education.

The Glendora Fly Fishers will also be the Glendora sponsor of the California Department of Fish and Game program “Trout in the Classroom.” This will be an ongoing program which will be handed down through the club from year to year.

The Club is student run and advisor facilitated. Officer positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Public Relations, Treasurer and Supply Supervision. Officer positions are voted in by club members and faculty advisors.

Opportunity for membership or leadership is limited to GHS students in good school standing.

Discrimination of any kind because of race, religion, sex or financial status will not be tolerated within the club.

The club meets on every other Friday at lunch in Rm# 214
