Home Homework Page
Algebra 1 is the first high school math class for most students.  Emphasis is placed on showing all work clearly.  Students who successfully complete the class will be ready for Geometry the following year.  For details on the organization of the class, grading policy and expectations, please see the Class Syllabus.

For information on 9th grade math offerings and on courses offered at Hanford High, see the
Math Flow Chart.
Homework Page
Homework:
Homework is assigned almost daily, and it is extremely important that students keep up.  You can see a list of recent and upcoming assignments and quizzes and tests by going to the
homework page.
Calculator Policy:
Calculators will be provided in class when appropriate.  Algebra 1 students should not bring a calculator to class.
E-mailed Progress Reports: I send e-mailed progress reports after each test to those parents and students for whom I have e-mail addresses.  I ask parents for this information during the first week of school.  If you are not getting progress reports electronically and would like to, please e-mail me at [email protected].
Glenco Algebra Concepts and Applications
Textbook: The textbook we will be using is Glenco Algebra Concepts and Applications.  This book should be kept covered at all times to increase it's useful life.  These books will be in use at Hanford High School long after current students have graduated.  Students who do not have a book cover on their book on test day may lose two points on the test.
