28.11.03 the show at the rock shop on saturday was awesome! broadway dialogue was amazing, i thoroughly enjoyed them. murder weapon is the emo/hardcore born again version of dawson river kids. they are recording soon, so look for the cd cuz if its anything like the live performance, itll rock. half past september was great, if you missed them on saturday, theyll be playing friday dec 12th at tanner paull, check out the shows page for more details. bosio was smashing- we all had a good time dancing and singing along, hehe. finally meteah strike played. they were kickass as always but there was the added bonus of matt's birthday so there was cake (it had boobies!) it was awesome. plus a ton of people were there. including jake from tanc, who wants you to go to his show on the 5th. itll be a good show. so either check them out or my band, last dying letter in mukwonago. -lauren
13.12.03 my goodness, the show at tanner paull with the oprahs, waking bradley, and half past september was soo incredibly awesome! you dont even know. where to start..hmm, well waking bradley played first, and even though waking bradley is not my favorite local band..they still played wonderfully, and even played their oh so famous rap song (i dunno, but it sounded cool). next was the oprahs, and they were amazing as usual and their new songs were great as well. during the oprahs though was when something extraordinary occured..dave miller (who plays guitar in SENSES FAIL) and sean, sf's guitar tech, came to visit!!! you dont know how exciting this was for me as well as lauren and erin. so i needed to get a photo considering the last 2 times i failed. so i went and got myself a photo, then a hug. dave is so kind. i was tempted to talk to sean cause he seemed lonely but i didnt, oh well. why they were there; i dont even know, adam from hps said something, but i didnt really hear, but thats alright. they were in west allis..at tanner paull, and thats what counts. anywho..half past september was very good, too bad there wasnt much um..moshing (i guess you could call it) that comes with this band from their many fans. after the show, we said our good-byes and such, and went home. check out the shows page more more excitement. -nicole
10.01.04 sorry this is a little late but the show on 3jan was really fun. it started out with calumet who are very good and will be playing at shorewood legion hall on the 24th with coma eternal and bosio. next was shoot bang dead. they were great as always but people only moshed on one song; i was very displeased. next came aim of conrad who hail out of philadelphia. they were good and the singer was, well, nuts. it called for a grand time though... call me lightning was fun and every one was dancing. though nothing compared to temper temper. they were aweosme and everyone was getting into it. it was sooo much fun. i hope that if you missed them that you check them out the next time they are in town because they are amazing. check out the shows page, there are a ton of shows coming up lauren
14.12.03 so the show at the rock shop with the meteah strike, berlin project, broadway dialoge, and 2 other bands i cant remember the name of, was pretty exciting. i never really planned on going to this show, but plans changed, so yeah. hmm, i arrived kinda late and didnt see the whole set from the 1st band. besides that..berlin project, who i believe comes from pittburgh were really good. i enjoyed them thoroughly. next was the meteah strike, they were good as usual..besides some technical difficulties that occured. after that came broadway dialoge, they played well. and then, i left. oh and dave and sean were there once again. that was great fun. it made my day, kinda. so yeah, there are shows coming up at madplanet, i suggest you check them out. -nicole
22.2.04 alrighty, time for some updates..well, the show at tanner paull (with hps, fairwell to twilight, autumn view, atractive female twins, and el oso) was pretty good. unfortunatly not that many people showed up, but the people that did were quite enjoyable to say the least. i, myself wasnt feeling too well that night so lauren was the one making all the new friends, like usual. um..i got some photos with my digital camera and hopefully more will be up on the site soon. oh yes, there was also a show today with shoot bang dead, textbook traitors, and more, yet i didnt feel up to going to that either, lauren did though and she'll update eventually. until then check out the shows page for upcoming shows..and maybe even look here cause i finally finised it all. -nicole
29.02.04 hey guys! so the show on sunday with seyarse, amortifera, chiodos bros, no children, shoot bang dead, and textbook was super fun! the ghost decided not to show up but that was ok cuz everyone was dead after textbook. Chiodos bros were amazing and the singer craig was a super nice guy. theyll be coming back around may so look out for the listing. No children from spain were really good too. of course, shoot bang dead rocked and it was nice to see so many people getting into textbook traitors. im not sure if nicole plans to cover my show or not so ill just put a quick little blurb in about it, thanks to all the bands that made it and to all the people who came out and supported us on friday, feb 27. typewriter came from chicago and were amazing. Dear marla started the show out were awesome. selling the story was just silly and, from what i heard, my band (last dying letter) did pretty well. ill get pics from the show up sometime... lauren
