| 14.09.03 the hardcore show was amazing. it was in spencers house(from shoot bang dead) bury your burdens, farewell to twilight, and this other band (i forgot their name, sry) it was a lot of fun hanging out with vince of byb and all the other kids there. they will be playing on the 28th at the rock shop so check that out, its byb's last show (i believe at least) itll be a great show so check it out! there is a broadway dialogue show with autumn view, box social, afterschool heros, and selling the story on friday at 6pm at the mole hole in lannon,wi. we may go but im not sure as of yet. if not theres a show at the shorewood legion hall on the 20th, check out the shows page for details! ~lauren |
| 22.09.03 the show at the shorewood legion hall has to be the best show i've been to in a while.. besides the pain after moshing, which was totally worth it, let me tell you. there were lots of good bands including: since by man, the response, bosio, temper temper, and juiceboxxx (even though he's not a band, it was still very entertaining.) once again we met new people, and I even met andrew of fall out boy! man..that was so cool. i tried to get as many photos as i could, and hopefully they'll be on here soon. until then, you should all think about going to tanner paull on the 26th to see half past september, 52 pick-up, the autumn view, and bosio..if you go; look for lauren and i! -nicole |

| 28.09.03 the show at the rock shop, which was suppose to include the meteah strike, fairwell to twilight, box social, and bury your burdens was good, too bad 2 of the bands canceled..the bands that actually did play were: meteah strike, fairwell to twilight, the pits, and sugar skills. this was an exciting event cause we were in the front row for all of the bands, which means good photos..woo. one thing that did dissapoint me though is that there was no crowd movement..oh well, the party aferwards at george webb totally made up for the loss believe you me. -nicole |
| 27.09.03 last night was autumn view, 52 pick-up, half past september and bosio at tanner paull and it was quite kicking. there was a little moshing, so im all bruised up. mental note: dont wear a skirt in a pit. oh well. the music was awesome and everyone was getting into it. the mudgets never showed and the show started 2 hours later than i was told it would start (damn you adam of hps) it was super fun anyways. it was just a great time hanging out with all the people we've met at other shows and whatnot. the next show is at the rock shop at 6pm check out the shows page for details! lauren |
| 24.10.03 the show at the menomonee falls legion center was awesome. we missed half of poulin cuz im an idiot and my directions were backwards and to(well from because it was backwards) the wrong place. im sorry guys... when we did get there, up up down down..., band from jersey, was super. following was ettison clio, a kickass girl headed band out of michigan. after that came farewell to twilight, a favorite of ours that had an awesome set, unfortunately no moshing for them. we got our fill of moshing though during shoot bang dead where i got me some bruises. shoot bang dead has a new member, mark, the asian. quite fun ;) it was so much fun you all should have been there. you can see shoot bang dead and many more at the halloween show next friday. that is gonna be fucking kickass so dont miss it! ~lauren |
| 06.11.03 kinda forgot to update this about the halloween show...whoops! it was awesome. shoot bang dead started the show out with spraying fake blood on everyone as they crashed through the crowd with spencer on a stretcher. textbook traitors opened their set with a large wood sign saying 'textbook chainsaw massacre' and waving around a working chainsaw (dangerously close to the crowd might i add.) there were a bunch of old guys (one of which was sharp and naked, shudders) that decided to make a circle that took the same space as the other 150 people moshing. those inconsiderate bastards should die. since by man was totally nuts. the moshing was overyly intense and i have bruises galore, not cool. but at least it was a memorable last show for justin. the costumes were hillarious. nothing like seeing vince (former singer of bury your burdens) dressed as a pimp with 2 hoes. classic. nicole and i were pirates (yarr) though moshing in costumes was not pleasureable. ~lauren |
| 31.07.03 the hardcore show was pretty good..but this time lauren and i were not celebrities. thats alright though, we got free buttons! this was forstella ford's last show, yet we've never seen them before they were good none the less, and you should all check them out at forstellaford.com. most of the other bands were really good as well and this time we both got to mosh! it was so exciting. i got some very interesting photos, and hopefully they'll be up on the site soon..lets hear it for the key-tar and the rubber chicken! thats about it for now..until warped tour that is, hope to see you all there! -nicole |
| 27.07.03 The port washington show was awesome! nicole and i were celebrities and got to hang out with a few of the bands there. paul from the oprahs hung out with us all day long. hes soooo nice! their set was good except for a string breaking. thanks to matt from the meteah strike for lending the guitar. they were great. meteah strike were very good despite certain members showing obvious signs of partying... bosio was kickin' and i was able to mosh a little bit. yay! the awesome bands totally made up for the fact that port washington is a stupid town with stupid people and stupid fish. ian (the guy who planned this all) says they are planning to have another one in august of september so check out the shows page to find out! the hardcore show coming up on the 31st should be fun. hope to see people there! look for nicole and i! lauren |
| 06.08.03~ warped tour was sooo much fun! nicole, steve, and i made a ton of friends with free hug shirts on. we saw a few guys from the meteah strike there and they want each and everyone of you to go to their concert at the rock shop on the 28th so check it out! the bands we checked out:motion city soundtrack, starting line, never heard of it, less than jake, brand new, the used, simple plan, thrice and the ataris. most if not all of these bands have a link on the link page so check them out as well. good golly the amount of free shit yesterday was insane. hehe so if anyone wants a suicide machines or slick shoes sticker from the yoohoo truck, hit me up. lauren |
