John GORDON was born on January 4th 1864 at Craigroy Croft, Rafford, Morayshire, and died at 18 Royal Circus, Edinburgh on April 16, 1922, he was 58. John Gordon was buried at Joppa Cemetery, Edinburgh.

On October the 11th 1892 when John was 28, he married Mary Cowan JAMIESON, daughter of Crawford JAMIESON & Isabella Lockhart Danks WILSON, in Newarthill, Holytown, Lanarkshire. Mary Cowan was born on March 3rd 1872 in Newarthill, Bothwell and  died  at 78 Argyle Crescent, Joppa (Son's House) on July the 24th 1958, she was 86.
John Gordon and Euphemia Ferguson had the following children:
1. Peter Ferguson (1893-1983)
2. Crawford Jamieson (1895-1942)
3. John  (1899-1980)
4. Henry Mungall (1902-1961) - This writer's Grandfather
5. Arthur Albert (1906-1982)
6. Mary Isabella  (1908-1993)
7. James  (1912-1970)
