James GORDON (1809-1882) was a twin (with Elizabeth), born in 1809 at Camlet to Margaret Gordon the second wife of 'Camlet John.' James died at 1 Kingsland Place, Aberdeen on the 16th June 1882, he was 73. After Farming he moved to Aberdeen and served as a Master Butcher.

On 30th November 1838 when James was 29, he married Isabella SIMPSON, daughter of James SIMPSON & Mary STEWART. His wife, Isabella was born at Shennach, Strathdon c1817. Isabella died at 1 Kingsland Place, Aberdeen on the 21st October 1882, she was 65.

James Gordon and Isabella Simpson had the following children:
