"Thomas Paterson citizen of Dundee & widow Alison Hunter, daughter Amelia died 19th February 1763 aged 21, here interred. Alison Hunter, 2nd husband Charles Gordon of Abergeldie, son William died 7th April 1763 aged 6yrs" (Notes: Sir Charles Gordon (3s of Mr Gordon & Mrs Paterson) died 24th March 1835 aged 81 years in London.-d: but see DNB)
