| February 24, 2004 25th Week 15 weeks to go Not too much to report this week. I have really become an expert on bathrooms lately, I do know that. I could tell you all about the bathrooms at school, at Sears (the worst!), Hobby Lobby, Target, etc. I have become very disgusted with the public bathroom conditions I've encountered, but no...not enough to waste time talking to management about them. I mean, really. Who cares? In other pregnancy discomfort woes, the swelling in my feet and hands has started. Usually it starts hitting me around four o'clock. Then the back ache hits around seven. Nice. Chris has been good about rubbing my back with lotion when it hits. He's a good man. Oh. I had a crying jag this morning after the doctor told me I was gaining too much weight this month. Thanks, Doc. Just what I needed to hear. 'Preciate it. Ugh. **************************************************************** I went for the glucose test this morning, where you drink the Sunkist tasting stuff and they draw blood. Funny thing---I always thought I was A negative blood type. Nope, I'm 0 positive. How weird is that? I don't know where I was told I was A negative....Mom? You remember??? We heard the heartbeat again and the nurse measured my belly. We scheduled a 3 D ultrasound for early May. I wish it could be done earlier, but whatever. That glucose stuff made me really tired afterwards. I took a nap and was sleeping great until some magazine salesman woke me up at the front door. Nice. **************************************************************** In Baby World: "Your baby now weighs about 1 1/2 pounds and is close to a foot long. Your uterus is the size of a soccer ball." That's pretty much it for the week. Off to put my feet up. A new pregancy picture will be up this weekend. last next |
