| Who are we? Earshot is a band night at the sutton arms pub in kidderminster. It was set up by Laura (weak13) and kriss (girls love ponies), who after gigging in bands and making friends in other bands, along the way found it increasingly disheartening to find the same bands at the same venues every month. Kriss then had an idea, he contacted the sutton arms (after playing there as a one off) he organised a bunch of dates and earshot was then born. Earshot was getting a reputation in kidderminster, with its unique bands and 1950's style set out, it was beginning to become what laura and kriss dreamed of. unfortunatly the sutton arms closed for referbishment for 2 months, there was even rumours of earshot finishing for good, Luckily the pub opened and the managment begged for earshot to return so here it is again.We are always looking for new bands local to us or from anywhere in the country , so if your in a band or you know someone who is send us a demo or get in touch.The more bands that play the better. Whats the catch? Well there is no catch. laura sets the gigs up sort out press and promoting all you have to do is turn up and play. The main band will sort out all the back line gear that is needed. The venue will sort out the pa and engineer (kriss) What is the p.a. like ? Well its a p.a. but some people do like to know exactly what they're getting so... 10 channel mixer 1k foh 500watt foldback/monorting 2 peavey 100watt wedges 1 bloody loud drummer wedge (about 600watts) sure/peavey mics Its more than enough for the venue |
