About Girls in GEAR:

Who can participate?

Girls in GEAR is a workshop designed for pairs of CMU students and middle school girls. It is important that each middle school girl attends the workshop sessions with a college student because they will have the opportunity to share experiences and perspectives on a more personal level.

If you are a CMU student... this is an opportunity to bring your middle school sister, niece, cousin, friend, or any girl that you feel would benefit from this workshop. Sharing your experiences will help make a true difference in her life.

If you are a middle school girl who knows a CMU student... this is a chance to bond with them! Take this opportunity to learn from their experiences and share some of your own.

If you are a middle school girl who does not know a CMU student... this event is still for you! CMU students are lining up to volunteer their time and knowledge to connect with you. Please email [email protected] for more details about this opportunity.
