| Middle school is a tough time for everyone--especially girls. They must deal with body image concerns and the emotional roller coaster of friendships as well as all the usual difficulties that occur with adolescence. The Girls in GEAR event is a workshop that will address these issues in a fun and interactive (but educational!) way. This workshop will provide middle school girls with resources and the knowledge that other girls are experiencing the same obstacles on the path to adulthood. |
