Either bring your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice of countries to the leaders meeting or email them to Monika Hammon at [email protected]. When emailing Monika please include your name and Troop number and age level. The deadline for receiving your choice of countries is January 5 so the Country Coordinators can have list of troops and countries ready for the January leaders meeting. |

| NOVEMBER TROOP ACTIVITIES TROOP 1846: They went to the Federal Way City Hall as part of earning their "My Comminunity" Badge. They learned that the citizens of Federal Way do not elect their mayor. The mayor is elected by the 7 member City Council. They also learned how Federal Way got its name. It comes from Pacific Highway which used to be called Federal Way Highway. If you are interested in visiting City Hall, contact Patrick Briggs there. TROOP 2153: They had a busy month. They attended the Juliette Low Birthday event and participated in the Veteran's Day parade. They did two community service projects: Collected coats for "One Warm Coat" and collected toys for "Samartian's Purse". They also held their investiture/rededication ceremony. They welcome 3 new girls into their troop. They also held their first court of awards for the year TROOP 1118: They completed sewing and decorating gingham aprons as part of their Sewing and Arts to Wear Badge. They are currently making double-six domino sets and sewing foxtails (balls with a nylon tail) for toy fair. They are also busy planning the caroling event on December 3. TROOP 1865: They had their troops first of many Silver Award ceremonies. They were also busy planning their short, medium, and long range goals for the troop. Paris is the springtime sounds great. |
