Personality: Your first impression is a sweet girl, with a sweet face, one who loves all creatures and wishes no one harm. Her face does look sweet and innocent, and she really looks like a sweet girl, but never judge a book by its cover. She�s a spoiled brat, and has always got her way. She is content in ordering those of the same, or lower, rank around, and well actually be a bit respectful to some of higher rank. She is constantly putting down others, and acting �above� them.
Appearance: Vibrant chocolate brown hair flows in waves to her mid-back. She often ties her hair up in an elegant knot using one of her Hold�s weaved scrunches. Her amber brown eyes appear gentle and kind, hiding her true feelings until she has already unleashed them. She has gentle, smooth features that are a bit too small for her circular face. She wears flashy, bright clothing that are very dressy, and unfit for work of any kind.
History: Her father is a Major Holder in the South, and their Hold has one of the best Weaver Halls. She grew up with the life of luxury, and needed only to ask for anything she wanted. She became spoiled fast, unconsciously encouraged by her parents. When she was old enough to walk around the Hold she commanded attention, and did many unsightly things to get it. She was rarely disciplined, and went on acting like a brat as she grew.

Personality: She�s a rebellious Teenager. She has a quavering personality, switching from too sweet, to too sour in a matter of seconds. She lives for snide remarks, and sarcastic jibes, another point against her in her family�s minds.
Appearance: To make matters worse she's taller than all her sisters and parents alike, which may give her the advantage of stature, but doesn't help when getting respect or even just a little gratitude now and then. Her almost whooping 5'5 height may seem average, but compared to her family's traditional 4' something it's unquestionable huge! With her relatively plain brunette hair, almond eyes, and simple features, she seemed to be lessened more.
History: Her only worth to her family was to be married off, so her father could acquire more land. On top of her family's already demeaning nature, is the fact that she is the youngest daughter of seven, and she can't even live up to her Family's low standards for women. As such she's had a very rough childhood, and a gruesome young-womanhood. When the dragon took a liking to her, the whole family was appalled, not only was the extra land gone, there was jealousy souring in the other sisters� minds. All in all her life is a great big mess, but what does she care? She�s heading towards a Weyr and a brand new life, which will most definitely be an improvement.

Dragon Personality: Valshareth is prissy and bossy. She has no hesitations about speaking to other dragons about their riders' behaviour and sees it as a dragon's duty to keep the rider on track. To her friends she is friendly and open.

Personality: Ilene has a distant personality from people. She prefers to watch things unless she is extremely curious or avid. She is a very strong willed person, and won't take orders unless it is about something extremely important. She loves singing and weaving, she is talented in both, but was reluctant when she found she had a talent for healing. She nourished that talent, and it grew. She was then given knots. She will brag about the few things she knows, or has, when she has the opportunity, which has slid down to '0'. She will be a loyal friend at the most needed times, and will never turn her back on a challenge, even the most difficult of them.
Appearance: Wavy chestnut brown hair cropped short just above the ears. Her skin is a beautiful olive colour and she has slanted sapphire blue eyes. She is short but her presence makes up for her lack of stature.
History: Ilene came from a hold off the cost of Pern. She then left for Harper hall, and then to grow her weaving talent, and then to healing hall. She nourished her healing talent and was given many knots. Searched to Grey Terra Weyr, Ilene impressed copper Valshareth, and began the process that led to her expulsion from the weyr. Or as she calls it, the wondrous, glorious day they got rid of her. Weyrling lessons were biased, two turns before the bonded pair passed, whereas it was less than a few sevendays before the goldrider and her prospective bronzes were let loose. Then came the auctions. The price for two 'guaranteed' flights with the copper was three candidates and large amount of fruit, higher than the price for the queen. Both flights were marked into her skin, the seven circles bruned into her shoulder and navel, insuring that near the end, the other riders would pull their dragons out. Twice Valshareth picked before her time was up, and the second came with a clutch of well mannered and well spoken hatchlings. Of course, the clutch was tainted, and along with the clutcher's rider, the bondeds were expelled from the Weyr and left on their own. Writing up false papers on her journey, Ilene and Valshareth travelled to Crescent Moon Weyr, looking for a change of pace.

Dragon Appearance: He is a dark red colour, a few streaks of brown mixed in along his backridges. A shortened tail and elongated neck make him seem rather gangly at first glance, but he carries himself with dignity. The rest of his body is boxy, rather than the smooth transfer between head, neck and body.
Dragon Personality: A soft-spoken dragon, he tends to speak only with his rider and very few dragons, determining that for himself, the company of his bonded is all that is needed. But f someone is being far too shy, a sharp reprimand is often on its way.

Personality: His world of opportunity was the opportunities of either, becoming a rider like his father, working in the Weyr Records room like his mother, or taking his own life, and perhaps even the lives of those he loved. A rather dark sense of humour, and a twisted view of right and wrong poison the spirit of a once kind and playful child. He shares his mother�s love of history and her wishes to protect everything about the Weyr, and his father�s hatred of misbehaving underlings, which for him, are any Weyrbrats younger than he is. If you slight him a payment for doing any writing that you�ve been punished to, a swift blow is his quickest justice, just like that of his father.
Appearance: Platinum blonde locks adorn a darkened face, falling infront of his eyes like a curtain, concealing the grey-green depths that seen only a world of opportunity. Dirt coloured skin covers the miniscule frame of a frailly built boy, unfit for strenuous Hold, or Weyr work. Soft, full, feminine even, lips grace a visage with high cheekbones, and small, childlike ears. Delicate hands fit for writing, or ladies embroidery, with their slender fingers are a constant source of aggravation! To put it simply, he�s short, dark and girlish, rather than the Tall, Dark and Handsome stereotype given to the other men of his family.
History: The usual story of a Weyrmateless male rider, searching for companionship on a cold winter night. J�lai, rider of blue Ingath, spent many a sevenday with Grace, a woman working to keep the Weyr�s new history from becoming obsolete. Soon enough they were gifted with a boy child, whom they named Jorace. Grace seemed to want to return to her duties, taking the child with her, but J�lai wished otherwise. He wanted her to stay with him, for his blue showed very little interest, and had never chased a single dragoness. She disagreed, and he grew angry as she refused his every attempt to make her return. Infuriated, he dealt her a harsh blow to the side, and she ended up nearly incapacitated for an undeterminable length of time. Soon enough though, she recovered and sought the protection of Maude, the Headwoman. Since then, Jorace has resided with his mother in the lower caverns.

Personality: Danica can be rather jumpy sometimes, but doesnt seem to care what others think. She is one of those few people in the crowd who won't be embarrassed to scream her deepest, darkest secret aloud. She's also not afraid to free smile from her trap, actually it would be hard to find her at a time when she wasn't. But that was when she was a child, for the past few years she's been rather depressed though the company of a dragon could easily brighten her spirit.
Appearance: Danica�s slender figure can usually be found adorned with a plain skirt and a raggedy t-shirt. Although her clothes are normally filled with dirt, her skin is always as clean as can be, for some reason dirt seems to never be found upon pale skin. She has indigo colored orbs, which seem to change to different assortments of blues to fit her personality. Her dark brown hair never has split ends but that doesn�t mean it stays neat and tidy. It often enjoys dancing in the wind, but that never seemed to bother Danica one bit.
History: As a child, Danica grew up perfectly. She was taught her manners and was never in the slightest way rude or ignorant. She also had many friends, which included her many brothers. They loved her dearly, as she did for them, and they wouldn�t dare put her in harms way. Then one day Thread began to fall, far from where they were, but it was close to much of the weyr�s vegetation. The brothers said good-bye to their sister and left. She waited and waited but they never returned and still hope lived within her. But one day, she lost all hope, and after that she had been depressed, never had anyone wanted to be her friend with her because she always sat in the dark corners of everywhere. Though she it looked as if every bone in her body was as cold as her the food she ate, still a few buds of hope grew in her to soon one day blossom into an amazing flower.

Personality: Leon has a kind soul, he�s not much of a leader though. He prefers to watch others take the spotlight and wont dare get in their way if it�s really something he did that was so amazing. Despite in un-leader like attitude, he�s actually very social and it wont take him long to go up to a stranger who seems nice. He loves athletic things like swimming and running though he never really can find time for it anymore, he�s now too old for childish things like that but if he gets a chance to take a dip or run in the fields he definately won�t leave it unnoticed. History: Leon grew up perfectly well. He was always taught to think before he spoke and to know his place. If he did something horrible like talk back to his father or mother they would simply slap him and he would know what he had done was wrong. His family was poor but he didn�t mind, he couldn�t tell the difference for he had never experienced someone of higher-class.

Personality: With her easy-going attitude towards things and her sweet voice, Rayne is definitely someone you want to spend time with. She looks rather shy the way she always fiddles with her rat and such but she�s actually quite social and almost can never be caught blushing but that�s probably because she�s already heard all the lame comments about the way she�s looks and made all those stupid trips over things. Sometimes her mistakes can ruin a friendship that never even got to start, and that has never been quite helpful to Rayne's social life. If you think you wouldn�t mind that much if she keeps on stepping on your toes or something, then you�ll be perfect for her.
Appearance: Silver hair that, at times, quite resembles the coat of a wolf from earth. No one is sure where she received her mismatched eyes for both of her parents had hazel or brown optics. As you can imagine, she�s quite something to look at. Probably the only feature on her face (besides her nose, lips, and ears of course) that is considered normal is her skin. Her skin is the colour of a red rose mixed with a peach. It�s quite an odd combination but it does make her quite descant to look at. She�s normally seen wearing either a bluish-green dress with long sleeves that reach below her hands of a greyish dress with a silvery sheen and the same sort of sleeves. Both of the tattered dresses barely curve with her slender form for they are both quite big for her. Obviously, they�re not hers. They were given to her by her sister but she has cherished them as if they were brand new.
History: Raynes sister, Nara always stole the spotlight in her household. Everyone thinks she�s wonderful the way she�s just perfect. First of all, her eyes are the same colour and her hair is a long dark brown. As a toddler she was neglected most of the time unless she needed to be fed but somehow she still grew up perfectly well. So many times she had done something amazing just to win the affection she deserved but so many times they just patted her on the back and began to smile warmly to her elder sister. Nara would switch positions with her sibling any day for she is 20 and close enough to being considered a full grown woman to not have a cheeks pinched every time she comes home. So one day Nara wakes Rayne and whispers. �Little sister, I�m running away. I�ll probably run to some other hold. Do not tell our parents of this.� This was a very emotional time for her for even though she envied Nara she still loved her dearly. �I�ll never tell. I love you.� She whispered back, trying to pull a smile for her sister. �I love you too.� Came a faint mumble from the dark right after Nara disappeared into the night. Once her parents awoke they realized there �special� daughter was gone. They begged her to tell where her sister went but Rayne never told and never would. Soon gave up and began to ignore her even more then they had before. She was fed, but only what she �deserved� and what she �deserved� was a piece of stale bread, hardly eatable. She doesn�t complain she just patiently waits for the day something new happens to her, because something has to, her life can�t stay like this forever, can it?

Personality: He is fairly open and friendly, but he generally tends to stay with his male friends. Girls just seem to put him off balance, if only because he was fostered with most of them and has been submitted to their admiring stares for many a turn, and nothing has been able to stop it.
Appearance: He has incredibly deep brown eyes that are like the most effective girl-melter on Pern. His hair is a masse of silky brown hair that is roughly the same shade as his eyes, something that most of the girls who grew up with him adore. He is relatively tall and stands at almost 5�12, which is quite large for someone who is only 16 turns, and hasn�t even hit his last growth spurt.
History: His parents became quite infatuated with each other on sight, and quickly married. But they had married only on the basis of lust, and soon after discovering her pregnancy, Silas's father divorced his wife telling her "it was too soon." Left to take care of a youg child on her own, Jalian, Silas's mother, resorted to fostering him to a properous hold by telling them she was the daughter of a wealthy merchant. After leaving his mother, Silas grew up in Myrith Hold.

History: He had a rather normal childhood. Growing up in a hold with normal parents and normal friends. In his early teens though his father became a drunk and would hit his mother. Personality: He�s a bit quiet, and can seem to shy to some. He can be a very fun person if you can get him to warm up, which is pretty easy for most. He loves humming, though he is always off-key. He has a bit of a negative outlook on things, almost always thinking everything is going wrong, and can hardly ever find something positive to think about.
Appearance: He isn't quite 'to die for'. Although some of the holder girls swore they�d do anything to get him. He has average sized features, something very extraordinary considering his family. His light brown hair curls a bit on the ends, which can make it seem that he�s wearing a hat instead of hair, and his amber-gold eyes match his face perfectly, but always seem to clash with his surroundings. He normally wears pale colors, nothing too exciting, and nothing too dull.
History: He lived in a small hold, nothing too special, not even by the ocean. It was pretty dull, and nothing exciting ever really happening except maybe one of the runners getting lost and the whole hold searching for it. When he turned twelve he was fostered out to a sea hold, and that�s where he got to have some fun. He hauled nets, learned to sail, and even fished a bit. He had quite a few problems with the hold girls though, distracting him while he was trying to work. But that passed as those girls got bored with him and went to bother the new fostered boys

Personality: Quiet, stubborn, doesnt get angry without a reason, hates to see others get hurt, and sometimes rather ramdom.
Appearance: Red-brown, curly hair to just below her chin, pale grey eyes, pale skin and freckles; is slender, and somewhat tall, but slouches to hide her height, a few thread-scores on her left arm.
History: She left her hold in a fit of rage two turns ago after her father beat her for something small, taking his two most prized things, a jeweled belt-knife, and a skybroom wood flute, and has been wandering ever since, until, while lying in a field, staring at the sky, she saw dragons beginning to flame thread, was caught by the leading edge, but managed to find lake, with an overhanging bank, and hid there, drowning the threafd on her shoulder, after the fall, one of the dragons in the ground-crew had taken an interest in her, but she managed to slip away, although she ended up at the weyr nonetheless.
