A FEATHER IN THEIR QUFFI?:
The recent election of the socialist candidate in Spains general election gives Islamic terrorists a huge win in their War On Freedom. Spaniards, in large numbers, in what is likely a reactionary vote, trounced the conservative candidate who had been hand-picked by the popular out-going President. Spains new President-elect has promised to withdraw all of Spains 1,300 troops from Iraq by mid-Summer. Does he believe his softer stance in the War On Terror will win him friends among the terrorists of the world? Possibly. Was he elected in response to the fear and anguish following Mondays commuter-rail bombings? Very likely. Will Islamic terrorists remove Spain & Spanish interests from their list of targets? I will go out on a limb and say, yes. Would the election of a more world-focused, softer-stanced, more socialist and liberal-leaning John Kerry produce the same effects in America?
Hell, no!
Not only will Kerry take a softer stance on tyrants and despots around the world, but he will also wait to defend American soil and citizens until receiving the OK from the UN. Already, Senator John F(riggin) Heinz-Kerry has plans to undo all of President Bushs progress in the War on Terror, and to crawl into the UN and beg for the worlds forgiveness for proactively defending our own security. On January 21st, in front of the Democratic Presidential Candidate Forum in South Portland, Maine, Senator Kerrys daughter, Vanessa, gave a stump speech for her dad, in which she stated that, if elected President, her dad has a plan to begin the healing process: My father wants to stand in the well of the United Nations and apologize for the reckless, careless actions of the current administration. My dad has the credibility to undo what George Bush has done.
Further, Kerry would prefer to keep our troops at home in response to terror, and treat the war as a law enforcement issue. Even if John Kerry released Saddam Hussein & the Gitmo gang, even if he took Osama bin Laden deep-sea fishing aboard the Scaramouche, even if he hosted Mullah Omar for mini-golf at his cottage on Nantucket, even if he built a mosque on the Mall in Washington, Islamic terrorists would continue to viciously target American citizens and American interests at home & abroad. ANY other country in the world can elect the softest, pinkest leader imaginable, and guarantee themselves immunity from terrorist attacks. But, no matter how far American voters lean to the Left, we will ALWAYS be a target of Islamic terrorists because we are the Great Satan. We are America! We are the sole beacon of freedom in a dark world. We are filthy American pig-dogs. We are Infidels! Until we tear down all our Christian symbols and statues, until Janet & Britney sit huddled in their burquas, and until we either convert or pay for protection, will we continue to face the threat of Islamic terrorists.
Thanks to Spains dovish electorate, you can plan on more terrorist attacks in other allied nations, and as our own general elections approach. They have given Islamic terrorists a big feather in their quffis. And Im going to make a prediction or two: Attacks on other allied nations will follow. Look to Italy or England to be on the receiving end a major attack between now & this summer. Not only would it exponentially increase anxiety and panic among the Chicken Littles of our time, but it would also serve as a warm-up for an attack in the days before our own November elections. Now, dont get me wrongI dont want to see another attack on our soil, our countrymen, or our servicemen, EVER. But, if kept unchecked, these crazies in filthy nightshirts will strike again and again.
But how much faith can I place in my fellow Americans to vote their conscience, to vote the issues of greatest concern to the safety and survival of our nation? A recent FoxNews poll revealed that only 6% of Americans see the War on Terror as the overriding factor in this years election! I have a recurring nightmareI am being marched among a throng of dozens of people, maybe hundreds. We are being marched at the ends of AK-47s to a broad, shallow mass grave. And as we shuffle through the blowing sands that were once the rich soil of Americas heartland, the glassy-eyed faces of the sheeple (sheep-people) around me are locked in mindless, Al-Franken-ish grins, as they mumble their mantra, Anybody but Bush, anybody but Bush.
Isnt it amazing that in nearly three years since the 9/11 attacks we have not suffered another attack on our soil? Not so much as a belt bomb. Let me assure youits not dumb luck that we have gone nearly 1,000 days without so much as a loaded backpack on a subway. Its not luck. Its not projecting a good feeling of peace. And its sure as Hell not by bending over and appeasing. We have gone without terrorist attacks on our soil since 9/11 due to the tireless vigilance of our Homeland Security Department, our Justice Department, our military, intelligence and law enforcement communities, all of whom working together under the USA Patriot Act. President George W. Bush has fulfilled his most basic promiseto defend America and her citizens from all enemies. We should also praise the skillful diligence of his cabinet: Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Tom Ridge, and John Ashcroft.
There are some in America who see the Patriot Act as a Gestapo tactic for stifling free speech and striking fear into the hearts of those who would dissent. John Kerry voted SIX TIMES against founding the Department of Homeland Security! During President Bush's State of the Union address in January several Democratic Congressmen applauded when he stated that the Patriot Act was set to expire unless Congress acted to renew the legislation. Now, given the fact that the Patriot Act is a far-reaching, and highly successful piece of anti-terror legislation, and given the fact that such legislation has proven useful for decades in the war on drugs & organized crime, and given the fact that not a single American citizen has sought monetary damages for mistreatment under the Patriot Act, then it stands to reason that if those DEMOCRATIC Congressmen were applauding its demise, then THEY STAND ON THE SIDE OF TERROR, drugs, and organized crime.
Dont make me say it again, please dont make me say it. If you think that giving in to Islamic terrorists and appeasing them will make them call off the dogs, then you gotta dump in your pants! . Damn, I said it.
OTHER THOUGHTS:
On Haiti:
Ousted Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide claims to have been kidnapped by US agents. All the while he had his 13-member ARMED security detail at his side. His first host nation, the Central African Republic, said that he was free to go at any time, but he continued to complain to all who would listen that he was being held hostage. What caused this whole mess? Pride. Too proud to admit his ten years of leadership was a failure & his country is a mess, J.B.A. held out to the last minute, and would have been butchered without the intervention of US agents. Would he have rather those rough US agents left him to be dragged through the streets of Port Au Prince and torn to pieces by his own countrymen? Then Rep. Charles Wrangle (D-NY) & Sen. Kerry (D-MA) could REALLY complain about President Bush not acting soon enough.
Thats Entertainment:
Some priceless entertainment on the tube recently: CSPAN's coverage of the Congressional Black Caucus (all six of those present) burning the midnight oil in the otherwise empty House chamber, pillorying "THIS administration" for the "kidnapping" of Jean Bertrand Aristide & for empowering his opponents in their "coup d'etat." Funnier than any sitcom out there right now. They all need to take off their tinfoil hats & drop the conspiracy theories for a minute, and see what a toilet that entire "nation" of Haiti is. Now, I'm quite sure the President dispatched a team of Special Operations troops to Port Au Prince to oversee Aristide's hasty departure from the country, and I'm also quite sure that those troopers may have been a bit abrupt & perhaps even gruff in their directives to Aristide & his family. BUT, had they not been there, CNN would today be running & re-running the grisly images of Aristide being dragged through the streets & torn to pieces at the hands of his own countrymen. What would the Congressional Black Caucus have to say then?
Funny how the ENTIRE leadership of the United States can be replaced every 4-6 years without bloodshed, riots, coups, etc. Things that make you go hmmmm.
Uncle Teddy:
Hey, can someone down there please throw a leash on Uncle Teddy (Kennedy). The guy is a complete menace. After not really seeing him in action for a few years I got a HUGE laugh out of watching him introduce JF'nK after the Super Tuesday primaries. If you've ever seen the movie "O, Brother, Where Art Thou?" (funny as Hell!), I do believe Charles Durning's Gov. Pappy O'Daniel character is patterned closely after Massachusetts' senior balloon from Hy-anus.
Show Me The Money!:
Funny how the Left cries about poverty & the homeless & the hungry children right here in the USA when a Republican talks about a major spending plan, such as the proposed mission to Mars. Fact is, President Bush has spent more on education, more on AIDS in Africa, etc than any other president in our history; to the extent that he is coming under heavy criticism from his own party members!
Finally:
Am I alone in this line of thinking: I would love to see President Bush receive the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize for liberating over 40,000,000 people in Afghanistan and Iraq. Youve read about the Baathist rape-rooms and the plastic shredders. You watched the women being beheaded on the soccer field by the Taliban on CNN Presents for such things as baring their faces or reading a book. You learned recently of the mass graves in Iraq numbering in excess of 270,000. You saw it. You knew what was going on.
You knew!
But because it was a wealthy Texas oilman, a modern-day cowboy with a swagger and a confident grin and a strong Christian faith, you would rather see the torture & killing continue than to admit the monumental successes of Republican President George W. Bush. Anybody but Bush, right? Even as blood runs through the dusty streets of Kabul and Kandahar, Baghdad and Fallujah. Shame on you.
