GILLESPIE, Lottie Margaret  Entered into rest peacefully, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario on Wednesday, February 5th, 2003.  Lottie Gillespie, in her 96th year, was the beloved daughter of the late William and Sarah Gillespie. Dear sister of Laura (Mrs. George Beall), predeceased 1990. Friends are invited to call at the Cambridge Street United Church, Lindsay, on Sunday, February 9th from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 2:30 pm.  Internment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital or Cambridge Street United Church.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKey Funeral Home, 30 Peel Street, Lindsay. EMMA LOUISE GILLESPIE, age 89, of Alpha House, West Virginia, Doswell, VA and Huntington, WV, died on April 25th. She was a retired math teacher with the Huntington School System, with a degree from Marshall College, and a master's degree from Columbia University. A longtime resident of Huntington, WV, Miss Gillespie was a member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, Huntington, WV and Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Beaverdam, VA. She was predeceased by her brother, Standard Erskine Gillespie, and a sister, Elizabeth Scales Gillespie James. Miss Gillespie is also survived by her niece Elizaabeth Louise James of Doswell, VA, hephews John Randolph James and his wife Martha of Richmond, VA., Peter Erskine Gillespie and his wife Annie of Pittsburg, PA, Stuart Randolph Gillespie of Washington State and John Sheldon Gillespie, sister-in-law Florence Sheldon Gillespie of Portland, Oregon and two great nieces, Kathryn Anne and Lucy Elizabeth. and one great nephew, Brian Talbot James and his wife, Stephenie of Covington, Washington. Friends may call at Reid Funeral Home, 4125 Washington Hwy, Ashland on Sunday, from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm.  Funeral service at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Beaverdam. Burial will be held in Springhill Cemetery in Huntington.

ALPHA VENUS GILLESPIE, died March 28th at Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov 13, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas, son of Alpha Sr and Mytrice Hadaway Gillespie. He was a Rockford resident for 20 years coming from Missoula, MT. He attended University of Texas in Austin, and Southwestern University of Texas. Alpha obtained a BS in Chemistry and Bio-Medical Engineering. He was a certified Medical Technologist & certified Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist. He married Susan Bresette in Rockford Jan 9, 1999. He was employed by Rockford Health Systems as a Chief Pefusionist at Rockford Memorial Hospital for 20 years until Jan 2003. He was an avid aviator and owned Midwest Air Charter. Survivors include: his wife Susan of Rockford, son Michael Gillespie, daughter Monica, both of Rockford, grandson Joshua Gillespie of Rockford, several cousins and special friends.

She is survived by four daughters: Ardie Mae, Diane, Elizabeth & Rose; five sons: Larry, Manzie, Terry, Tracy, & William; 24 gradnchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held on Sat, May 3rd from 12 noon until time of homecoming services at 1 pm at Robert G. RICHARD ALLAN GILLESPIE, died at his home. He was born March 11, 1969 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Jack Gillespie of Blue Springs, MO and Mollie Gillespie of Puyallup. Richard enjoyed spending time with his daughter. Survivors include his parents, a daughter Jacqueline DeRose Gecko of Puyallup and his sister Karen Gillespie and her children, Vanessa and Marshall Manina. Memorial service is 12 pm Saturday, May 10th at Yakin and Son Funeral Home in Auburn. (Source: NW classifieds).

LINDA BRUCIA GILLESPIE, age 59, died April 14th at her home in Fresno, CA. She was born in Carmel, CA on May 9, 1943 to James & Celia Bruica. She married Thomas Gillespie on June 19, 1965 at the Carmel Miision in Monterey, California.  She was a Special Education teacher.  Linda was the mother of Thomas Lee Gillespie, born 1968 and daughter Gina Marie born 1970.  Linda is survived by her husband, children and mother, brother James Brucia and sisterJoanne  Pitta. Visitation will be held at Whitehurst Chapel on Monday, April 21st from 5 -7pm. Entombment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery (Source: Fresno Bee)

COLUMBUS ORR  GILLESPIE, 59, of Charlotte, North Carolina, died May 8th at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Monday at St.Paul's Presbyterian Church. Rev. Gloria Bolden officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7 - 8pm at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel. Mr. Gillespie was a member of this church. He is survived by his wife, Annette Gillespie, sons Christopher (Ann) and Derek Gillespie, daughter Lorraine Caldwell, godsister Lena Dean, four grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
