I'm usually the kind of guy who's up for anything. Whether it's cuddling on the couch, going rollerblading or taking her out to diner, I always like to do whatever I can to put a smile on my girlfriend's face.

I'm also the kind of guy where if I see my girlfriend has had a long day, I'll just come give her a back massage or foot rub without her having to ask me.

I don't think you should ever say no to your partner unless you really really really had a bad day. Helping out or doing a favour for your girlfriend/boyfriend shouldn't be a chore. For me, it makes me happy to put a smile on her face. And I think that feeling should go both ways.

If there's ever a problem, I like to discuss things, calmly, no yelling. I've never sweared to any of my girlfriends and I'm not the kind of guy who calls his girlfriend "bitch" or any other demeaning terms.

I have a big heart and I always keep my promises. I've never cheated on any of my girlfriends. When I'm with someone, I stick with the relationship till I know it's not going to work out. I don't give up unless I know it's really over. You have to put some effort in every relationship if you want it to work. I have no problem compromising as long as she doesn't either.

I hate cheaters and I just think that if you even consider cheating, you should just end it. Being cheated on hurts a lot, so why put anyone through that. Specially if your bf/gf has been a total sweetheart with you all along.

For me, cheating includes kissing. I can't exactly consider cuddling and dirty dancing as cheating, but I think it shows a lack of respect for your bf, so, I know I wouldn't be too pleased.

How I'd Like Things to Be

I can't really give an accurate example of how I'd like things to be since everybody is different and has their own ways.

I know for me, good communication is a must and I don't mind a girlfriend who's affectionate. It would be cool if she liked coming to watch me play ball in the summer, or hockey in winter.

In the end, what I'm really looking for is a girl who wants a serious relationship. I don't really care for flings and at this point in my life, I just want some stability. I think it would be nice to start building a future with someone who I can really connect with.
