Changes and Additions
1) College Trigonometry/ Probability and Statistics replaces Trigonometry /SAT Prep. With the addition of the writing section of the SAT, preparation can no longer be done effectively in a math class. SAT tutorial experiences will be offered in a different setting.
2) Humanities class will be a survey study of Psychology, Economics, Sociology, and Contemporary Affairs
3) College Music Theory class will allow students to study music elements including rhythm, melody, harmony and form in music, pitch and note values, and how music pieces are composed
4) Teacher Cadet course will introduce careers in teaching and education emphasizing the learner, the School, the teacher and teaching, and hands on experience through internships
5) The Crossroads Institute will expand career and technical opportunities through Practical Nursing and Electrical and Plumbing Technical Studies
6) EOC English Writing SOL will be administered in English 10 allowing for concentrated instruction.
