Step 1 Students meet by small grade level groups to receive a program of studies booklet and a five year planning model. Teachers and counselors describe various course offerings, requirements for graduation, and other necessary information.
Step 2 Students take home the program of studies booklet and discuss with parents a tentative class schedule for the next school year.
Step 3 Students meet individually with their assigned counselor to formulate a course of studies based on student interest, achievement, career intent, and teacher and parental recommendations.
Step 4 Parental contact is required to finalize the student�s program of studies for the coming year.
Step 5 The course selection information is entered into the computer and a master schedule is developed.
Step 6 Printed schedules will be issued to students in August.
