Kelly grew up dancing in the Bay Area where she studied jazz, ballet and gymnastics for over twenty years. Her love of dance and performance soon evolved into a love of Theater. During High School, Kelly attended The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and starred in many musicals including 'Hair', 'A Chorus Line', 'Grease' and 'West Side Story'. She then went on to study Television and Theater at Saint Mary's College and UCLA. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Kelly pursued post-graduate studies at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Some of Kelly's television and film credits include working as an NBC Network reporter, 'The Jaime Fox Show', the movies 'Phenomenon', 'The George Wallace Story', and 'The Second Civil War'. Kelly's dreams were finally realized when she founded The Academy Peformers School of Performing Arts in 1999. She loves being able to combine her passion for performing arts with her love of children.
