Kelly Bruns
Kelly grew up dancing in the Bay Area where she studied jazz,
ballet and gymnastics for over twenty years. Her love of dance
and performance soon evolved into a love of Theater. During
High School, Kelly attended The American Conservatory Theater
in San Francisco and starred in many musicals including 'Hair',
'A Chorus Line', 'Grease' and 'West Side Story'. She then
went on to study Television and Theater at Saint Mary's College
and UCLA. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Communications,
Kelly pursued post-graduate studies at The American Academy
of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Some of Kelly's television
and film credits include working as an NBC Network reporter,
'The Jaime Fox Show', the movies 'Phenomenon', 'The George
Wallace Story', and 'The Second Civil War'. Kelly's dreams
were finally realized when she founded The Academy Peformers
School of Performing Arts in 1999. She loves being able to
combine her passion for performing arts with her love of children.
