In the dead of the South American jungle a baby was born. The baby was shipped to England to be raised. Shockingly the little girl was sold to a mysterious countess in London . The woman named Lucinda was pretending to be pregnant while her husband was on a world tour. Lucinda and her husband Brandon were madly in love but she couldn’t conceive a child. Lucinda’s dear friend end up needing to get rid of there daughter child so she bought the child. When Brandon returned home from his journey around the world Lucinda had a glowing daughter. Brandon and Lucinda named the girl Sabella Fiona Lazar. Lucinda and Brandon started raising the baby.
Sable grew up in a very lush upbringing. In her youth she got the best education which fueled her drive to be the best. She’s a very competitive young woman which drives her ambition for education. She loved school and thrived on knowing more. As she got older people labeled her as bitch but she felt that came with being a smart woman. She was the best and people couldn’t handle a woman being that. Her mother and father also demanded excellence and Sable is never one to disappoint. When Sable turned sixteen her life heated up tremendously. Virgil Townsend a young diplomat from Paris arrived at her school and quickly placed his stamp on her heart. They’re young love affair was the talk of the school. Young, rich, and beautiful lives were spread across the media. People adored them like they were celebrities. Sable became one of England ’s most notorious and captivating socialites. Lucinda loved her daughter and had become a loving mother fiercely wanting nothing more than to protect her. She hid the truth on her conception. But when a mysterious stranger arrived at the Lazar mansion things changed. The young man was said to be Lucinda’s best friend son. He and Lucinda had a very tense relationship that was noted by Sable. Slowly but surely she started to become enthralled in Isaac Donnelly. Isaac had a very big agenda he was a little boy and remember his father telling him about a fake birth. Isaac father was a butler at the mansion and knew of Lucinda never giving birth. Sable and Isaac relationship worried Lucinda dearly because if she fell for him she knew the truth would come out. On Sable’s seventeenth birthday Virgil proposed marriage on her and she agreed. Sable was madly in love with Isaac but knew he was a rogue and never would commit to her. By this time Lucinda had got Isaac out the house and into his own place. She paid him off and made him sign a contract he’d never tell Sable of her true history. Isaac heard of Sable being engaged and was shocked he loved the beautiful young woman. He knew she was hard to understand but he didn’t care, he was in love.
On Sable’s eighteenth birthday she wed Virgil in a lavish ceremony. London gathered and the paparazzi were there to make her wedding even more of a spectacle. Isaac arrived at the airport as Sable was about to leave the airport telling her the awful truth. He wanted her to know that this was a secret her mother intended on keeping from her forever and she was crushed. Sable slapped Isaac thinking this was a mean attempt to ruin her marriage to Virgil. She went on her honeymoon forcing herself to believe it wasn’t true. Virgil got a job for London Police Department as an officer. Sable remained in school getting her education in journalism. Virgil was apart of the undercover sting to take down a criminal who was stilling priceless art. He went undercover to find out who it was. Virgil and Sable started to lose touch with each other and the young woman became lonely. Isaac was there to calm her fears and even recount the truth about her history. It was then Sable confronted Lucinda who gave her the raw truth. She wasn’t her daughter but a dear friend of Lucinda’s grandchild. Crushed Sable turned her back on her family and ran into the arms of Isaac. Isaac and Sable made love when Virgil returned from a hard night. Virgil killed a man that night and was deeply disturbed. Virgil snapped and tried to kill Isaac. The men had a big fight and Sable knew she couldn’t continue this way. Lost and confused Sable returned to her parent’s home. It was there Lucinda informed her she’d always be her mother. Sable agreed not to tell her father knowing it would break his heart. She stayed with her family for weeks and Virgil tracked down his wife at nightclub. He took her on a ride and she finally saw Virgil was the man she loved not Isaac. Virgil actually got a call from James about the heist they did. He was told to meet him at the meeting place. Already riding he had no choice but to bring Sable. He went inside and Sable heard screaming. She also heard James call him a trader and a loud pop. James and his crew ran away and he looked directly at her. The police were on there way and the sirens were so close. He knew he couldn’t kill her and get away. So he chose to get away. Sable was shocked when she went inside and found her husband dead.
Sable didn’t grieve long because she wouldn’t allow herself. She tried her best to get James prosecuted. Yet every time he would slip away. Somehow he’d vanish just when they were close to getting him. Sable hasn’t dealt with the unresolved pain of her husband death. While at school she gets a call from John Durant to come to Port Charles. James Craig has been capture and he wants her to be a character witness. Sable arrives and another long lost child arrives to Port Charles. But this secret will rock a family to the core.
