Robin has been through a lot in her life. When she was young she found out a family friend was really her mother. She was then reunited with her father, and saw her parents remarry. Then tragedy struck and her parents were "killed". She was taken in by her uncle Mac and grew into a teenager. She met and fell in love with Stone Cates, only to lose him to AIDS. She also contracted HIV from him and has been dealing with that since. She next fell for Jason Morgan, and the two had a strong relationship until Carly and Michael caused Jason's loyalty to move elsewhere. She left town after telling AJ the truth, and moved to Paris to study as a doctor. She was reunited with her mother there and recently returned to Port Charles where she came face to face with not only her father but Stone Cates as well!
