Reese Williams was engaged to marry Simon when she realized one thing: she wasn't in love with him; she was a lesbian. Confessing all to Simon and her parents, Reese was cast out of the family by her parents, especially her mother. Having a lesbian daughter is embarrassing. Reese moved to Paris to find herself and met and fell in love with Bianca Montgomery. Their relationship moved quickly and they moved in together, co-parenting her daughter, Miranda. When Bianca's brother-in-law came to visit, Reese immediately becomes friends with Zach. His gift of fathering their child touches her to her core, and Reese's family is set. Happy with her family, Reese offers to stay in Paris with Miranda while Bianca heads to Pine Valley to check in with her family.
When a tornado rips through town and Bianca's sister is critically injured and Bianca gives birth, Reese brings Miranda to join their family in Pine Valley. She enjoys meeting her new daughter, Gabrielle and enjoys immediate success as manager of Zach's casino. She files paperwork to legally adopt both Miranda & Gabrielle as well. While in Pine Valley, their lives end up in a tailspin, thanks to the interference of Bianca's mother.
When all is said and done, Bianca and Reese realize that they are better off away from Pine Valley and away from Erica Kane. Reese is offered a job by Nikolas Cassadine, it seems like the perfect solution. Reese & Bianca move their daughters to Port Charles to start over.
